We were in Cooperstown for the Dreams park Tournament and decided to rent a house instead of booking a hotel room. In hindsight, we are so grateful we did and this property was perfect for us! We were able to make meals before, during and after baseball games, and we were happy to come back after a long day at the ballpark to the comfortable and open spacious outlay of a house (instead of a small, crowded hotel room). Overall, the house was much larger than expected (!!) - with a good sized kitchen, a dining area overlooking the lake, a dinning room (that we never used) and 3 large family/sitting rooms for 'hanging out. The were 3 bedrooms (2 with double beds, 1 with 2 twin beds) that were not so big, but were fine as we only spent time there sleeping. The house is across the street from the lake, but the house has a small private dock that we used for fishing and swimming. We also used the provided 2 kayaks and canoe. Two full bathrooms and laundry were available. Our only 'complaint' is that we wish the water pressure in the showers had been a little bit stronger. Overall, the house as kept neat and clean, and we enjoyed the use of a BBQ for dinner one night.
The house is conveniently located about 10 minutes to downtown Cooperstown, and ~15 minutes to Dreams Park (I do not know the distance to the All Stars park).
The owner was very easy to deal with - he answer all questions before our visit.
I highly recommend renting a house if you are in town for a Cooperstown tournament - and I highly recommend THIS house.
