Very disappointed!

It might have a Grand Lake address but closer to Granby Lake. It says there are stairs but not three levels. With no AC you have to be able to open doors and windows but there are no screens on sliders and the moths and flies were swarming in.Lock was falling off deck sliding door, panel falling out of back door, half the lights didn’t work. There are no end tables or coffee table and the TV is streaming only. After an hour we called mgmt and ask to ck out with full refund. After some time it was granted. These are the same issues being mentioned in the reviews clear back from 2021-22. Which we didn’t read til after. Also we weren’t told til ck in instructions that washer/dryer didn’t work. Might be ok for a winter rental with some maintenance. The place was very clean. We book on VRBO a lot and never had such a bad experience.

No screens so you can not open windows without bugs,no fans ,lighting didn’t work, broken seals on windows so you can’t see outside, not very clean

Hot Water and Tv

Concerned about the tub diverter in the shower. Took 2-3 times to get it to produce hot water, for the shower. Also, how do we get the tv, to get local tv channels? Other than that, it was a nice condo.

Enjoyable property

This property is a quick 5 miles from downtown Grand Lake. It is easy to get to. Was comfortable and clean. The owners were quick to respond to our questions and were helpful. Be aware if you want to watch TV you will need to use your own personal TV login and services. Other than the TV and BlueRay player no streaming or channel services are available.

The location was great, off main highway, across from beautiful Lake Grandby. The views were great, quiet complex and accommodating hosts. The Evolve team I dealt with was awesome. The property was well appointed, updated and clean. We truly enjoyed our stay!

The condo was not as expcted

Our son and we shared the condo. We looked for a2 bedroom and this was great. Condo had 2 bedrooms with with king beds…. But this was our first disappointment. The rooms and bathroom was up stairs with no air conditioning were stuffy and hot. We are used to this renting in mountainous areas there usually isn’t air conditioned. The problems was that the window in one bedroom had a large sliding door without a screen and an exterior light out side was on all night calling all bugs so leaving door open was not an option. This is also a fact on second floor living area had only a sliding for without a screen. One tiny window in kitchen. We looked around for fans but none. It was quite warm while we were there and spending anytime in Condo very uncomfortable There was a washer dryer listed and we were informed dryer broke sorry So. I decided I could do a load of wash of things we needed, I went to washer and it wasSTUFFED with wet laundry. I choose not to get involved and went to laundry mat. The shower was a challenge. The faucet handles were wobbly and the water control was either cold or scalding. We had to decide if fiddling with the shower was worth it. When you got the shower warm it was ok. We did not use kitchen so can’t comment on that. Entering the condo of 3 flights, you enter on tile floor but immediately up the stairs with carpeting. Bringing outside onto carpeted steps without anything to clean off shoes was discussing. We did the best we could trying not to trap rain mud gravel inside but the thought that manny feet carried a lot of that and more before us was not very comforting. TV service was not avaible except for DVD movies. We were really bummed out by this. Don’t know if we were aware of this before renting. This day and age, who provides TV with no service. Internet was good. Based on our complaints, we would not rent this again. Disappointed indeed

Nice place but lacking standard ammenities

The condo was nice but lacking in a few basic amenities you would normally expect in a vacation rental like hand soap in the bathrooms and enough dishes and silverware. The glass door on the main level was also smeared with dog nose prints and obviously hadn't been cleaned in a long time. The thermostats also did not appear to actually work, making it impossible to change the temperature in the unit. Most of those were fairly minor things that we were able to work around, and the unit itself was nice and conveniently located.

Amazing location for trips into RMNP. Cute town. Excellent directions. Clean property. Lovely decks. Comfortable beds. Plenty of seating to sprawl out and enjoy a movie after a day of hiking. Thank you for sharing your property

Never again!

1. Property was filthy, including sticky floors, dirty dishes, gummy carpet. Had 7-month-old baby with us that we could not put on the dirty floors. 2. Fry daddy in cabinet full of old grease and disgusting. 3. Toaster broken. 4. Cups pulled out of cabinet dirty. 5. No can opener. 6. Advertised 3 large flat-screen TVs that did not work. Contacted rep Debbie and then Chris on Friday, day of arrival, about TVs. TV situation was not remedied, no solution offered. The whole experience has been awful and a huge hindrance to what should have been a relaxing vacation. I've spent far too much time trying to contact people about the problems, all time taken from our hard-earned vacation and with very little help. Nobody should stay in that condo in its current condition. We trusted that we would be provided a safe, clean, honestly advertised property, and that was not our experience. Our issues were never resolved. We were offered a small portion of our total payment as resolution. We will definitely not rent this property again!

Easily accessible rental and friendly check in/out process. Only 10 miles to Granby Ranch for skiing. Beautiful views of Grand Lake area.

Worst stay in Soda Springs Ranch

For the price, extremely disappointed. No pillowcase on one pillow, no mattress pad on beds, old, leftover-looking bath towels, no normal tv, leaky ice cube trays, foggy seal on sliding glass door (couldn’t see outside), only one chair on front deck, no chairs out back. And no notice that chimney sweepers would come to clean during out stay!!!

Not great

Cleanliness: There were orthodontic rubber bands on the floor. Gross. Also, the back patio was so rotted that my son almost fell straight through the boards. Equipment: the picture showed a grill on the deck, but there was no grill there or otherwise. One of the main reasons that we wanted a condo was to cook our own meals.

Townhouse near highland marina

Great location! Great views from the patios! Loved being only minutes away from Highland Marina! Quiet and comfortable. Place would benefit from having a grill as pictures in the photos. (No grill) Additional patio/balcony furniture in order to enjoy the best spots of the townhouse. I.e. Main balcony (only one chair), chairs/furniture for the upper balcony along the back patio which is the best stop to enjoy a morning coffee in direct sunlight.

Good, on the way to great

Pros: clean, nice location, comfortable beds What would make it better: more than 1 chair on the deck; a screen door leading out to the deck; more coffee mugs, an updated listing about the cleaning company to request late check-out (admittedly, it was YEARS OLD, so was leaving messages to no avail), and a working grill. Also...DRIVING to empty the trash was a hassle, only because the key had to be returned to the unit. We did it, but shouldn't that be included in the cleaning fee? These few changes could make this a GREAT spot to stay in!

Nice place!

I’m aware the homes don’t have air conditioning, however; a couple box fans would’ve been greatly appreciated. Also, I tried contacting the property managers on multiple occasions & had no luck.

Fabulous Mountain Getaway

This was a great VRBO. It was in a great central location. It was close to the lake and in a mid point between the two towns. The accommodations were perfect for the the 6 of us. The owners were very hospitable and helpful. We had a great time and are definitely planning to return.
