This property was fine. It met our needs. Beds were cozy and it had most of what we needed. We appreciated the Outpost dispensers of shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and dish soap with refills in the bathroom cabinet. There were plenty of paper towels, trash bags, and toilet paper. The best part of our stay was that when I needed a bigger pan in the kitchen in order to cook pancakes every morning, I connected with Outpost and a pan and spatula magically appeared on the kitchen counter while we were out.
The negatives were that the nonstick pots that were in the kitchen were very scratched up which concerned me as I cooked. Also, the microwave kept shutting off after 30 seconds. After dealing with it for awhile, I just stopped using it. Most of the cooking supplies I needed were there, but I missed having a vegetable peeler. My family was a little grossed out by the stains on the carpet and couch. My biggest complaint was the washing machine. I kept smelling something in the bathroom and thought it was our wet towels. So I kept washing them. But the smell was coming from the washing machine. Finally, I looked at the rubber lip of the washing machine to see if anything had caught in there and discovered the problem. It was caked with a thick layer of dirt that stunk. I used an entire paper towel roll and laundry detergent and tried to scrub it clean, but I just made a dent in it. I'm sure it would have come off better with different cleaning supplies, but I did not want to go out and buy any for the short time we were there. Finally, my son, who slept on the top bunk of the bunkbed had a hard time sleeping because of the noise on the floor above him.
With all of that said, we enjoyed our time in the Tetons and it was great to have a place to come back to to fix all of our meals and watch the Olympics when we'd worn ourselves out. The location on Moose-Wilson Road was better than I expected and although it took us 20-40 minutes to reach the majority of our hikes, it was a fun road to travel every morning.
Thanks for the pan for our pancakes and the spatula!
