We stayed here over spring break and ended up leaving a night early due to the poor condition of the property. The house was not clean, and the linens and towels were thin, worn gray fabric — clearly not replaced often. The kitchen was poorly stocked with only one usable pan, expired spices, stained dishes, and heavily scratched plastic plates. The washing machine smelled awful, poorly masked by heavy air fresheners. A pool technician also arrived unannounced one afternoon, leaving the pool unusable for hours. While the pool was technically heated, it wasn’t warm enough to enjoy. An unfortunate accident occurred when our child knocked over and broke a lamp. We notified the owner immediately and asked how to resolve it but received no response until after we checked out — at which point we were charged 130 for a lamp that retails for 40–60 at Target. When we asked for proof of the cost, the owner was dismissive and unprofessional.Overall, the property feels neglected, the supplies are low quality, and the owner’s handling of issues raises serious concerns. For the price charged, this property is absolutely not worth it. The home has potential but is not being maintained to an acceptable standard. I would not stay here again or recommend it.
