We were headed to our usual stomping grounds up Cottonwood Pass. We arrived early in 2018 and while killing time we notice an 'estate sale' sign. We love picking up unique items when we travel and often shop all the antique places. This time we bought the house! We had been looking for 10 years -- every summer when we came to the area. Something about this big house - with 2 sets of staircases - so much room for our growing family of grandchildren, captured our hearts. And walking distance to the center of town was a plus. Of course, when we looked out in the backyard and saw 'our' mountain, we knew it was what we had been looking for the last 10 years! Our grandkids love chasing each other up and down the staircases. And their parents love the game room for themselves and their kids. We can all sit around the large dining room table for holiday dinners, and we all gather in the family room to watch a great movie! It's not a log cabin; it's not in the woods; it's not on the river. It's also not 20 minutes away from the nearest store, activity, etc. It is a great rambling home with so much to offer, so much to do, and so many places to hang. Walk to K's Dairy Delite for an ice cream after dinner; or walk to Eddyline Pub for pizza and a brewsky. So you can stay 'in the mountains' and be far away from anything, or you can stay in town and be close to everything, have beautiful views of the mountains, and the same distance from the activities you want to partake. We hope you'll enjoy it as much as we do.
