Santa Ynez Country Living

We enjoyed the location of this property as it gave us easy access to towns we enjoy visiting.. It was a very private setting where we could have our dogs. The owners were very helpful with any concerns we had. We would enjoy staying here again.

Private getaway for relaxation

Had a great time. Jesse and Michelle were very hospitable and their house is well equipped with everything you need. There rental is very close to Solvang where you can enjoy some fresh danishes. Would highly recommend.

Cycling oasis

This property was a perfect jumping off location for the best cycling routes in the Santa Ynez Valley. It was just what we were looking for: rural, yet close to wineries, restaurants, and tourist attractions. The peace and quiet made for a very relaxing vacation. Jessie was an ideal host, answering all questions immediately and providing excellent vacation advice.

Immaculate House well Located

Jesse's house was immaculate and had everything we needed for a great getaway. The location is convenient to access activities in the area, wine tasting, Los Olivos and Solvang, are next door. The game room was fun for night time activities. Highly recommended for families, one couple who want to spread out or two couples. Jesse was very helpful with recommendations in the local area - thanks for the taco Tuesday recommendation -- it was great!

Relaxation Mecca

Jesse's guest house is the perfect rental for a relaxing country retreat, especially with kids and dogs. We felt all the comforts of home. The house and grounds were immaculate and welcoming. The goats were great entertainment for our daughter and beagle. It was wonderful to have the tire swing, lounge chairs, hammock, grill and games to complete our quiet weekend getaway. We will be booking this lovely home again soon!

Jesse's little house is big!

Jesse took care of our family once again. He keeps adding to this house and our kid's loved their stay during our wedding. He is always available if you need to call him and he and his wife are genuine, good people. Enjoy the central location dead between Los Olivos and Santa Ynez.

A Santa Ynez Gem!

We three long time hiking and wine tasting buddies spent two delightful days at this beautiful ranch home. Jesse and Michelle greeted us and were exceedingly friendly and helpful with dining suggestions. The home was immaculate and had every convenience that we required. We especially liked the quiet, farm like setting and the access to roads were we could get our daily walking exercise. The close proximity to vineyards, tasting rooms and excellent restaurants more than met our expectations. We look forward to potential future visits.

Beautiful setting and very helpful host

Jesse met me when I arrived and reviewed everything. He was so kind and helpful. I locked myself out and his response was "no problem." Everything was extremely clean and comfortable. The house is lovely and on beautiful acreage with goats. Definitely recommended Jesse's place. Teresa

A relaxing and pleasant getaway from the city

My husband, our pup and I booked a stay for a long holiday weekend and we really enjoyed the quiet, peaceful atmosphere at Jesse’s place! The house was very clean, well maintained, the property was huge and beautiful! Our pup loved the free-range property and being able to be off leash since it’s all fenced in! We enjoyed the amenities such as the ping pong table, front porch chairs, feeding the goats to their hearts content, and the views of the property and beyond. We also loved walking to the organic Finley’s farm where we enjoyed picking up a basket of organic strawberries. Glad we found this spot and thankful that Jesse and his wife (and dogs/cats/goats) were all so welcoming :)

Perfect weekend getaway

My husband, toddler, and I had such a wonderful weekend at Jesse’s place. Our little one especially loved visiting the goats every morning. The house was warm, comfortable, and equipped with everything we needed.

Incredible location, pristine & dog friendly!

Our group of six adults and two dogs had the best stay at Jesse’s property. The house was fully stocked with everything we could’ve needed from utensils in the kitchen to extra linens. The property itself was beautiful and secluded. Very close to downtown Santa Ynez and Los Olivos! Will definitely be staying here again. Thank you for the great hospitality, Jesse!

Our son loved feeding the goats and we loved the quiet location

The owners were amazing with communication and were very helpful answering my question prior, and during our stay. Everything was clean, well stocked, and remote feeling while still being close to stores and entertainment. We absolutely loved our stay!

We will DEFINITELY be back.

This place is amazing. The pictures don't do it justice. Jesse (the owner) is friendly and helpful. He even let us help feed his 3 adorable goats. The place is ginormous, and it easily fit our family. It is well-appointed, and has everything you need (including shampoo, conditioner, and body wash). There are more than enough towels, blankets, and pillows, and the kitchen has everything you would want to cook a full meal. It is the perfect location. It gives you the feeling of being on a ranch, but it only take five minutes to get to either Solvang or Los Olivos. We will DEFINITELY be back.

The best VRBO I've stayed at!

Relax in the country

Very charming guest house in a wonderful country setting. Well appointed kitchen, an inviting front porch and a rec room with a ping pong and foosball tables—great fun! We enjoyed visiting with their goats each morning. The host is very responsive and accomadating. We had a wonderful time.

Dog Friendly, Beautiful and Peaceful

This is a cute, comfortable home in a beautiful, peaceful area of Santa Ynez. Close to adorable Solvang and accessible to Santa Barbara, but away from the busyness. The owners are super hospitable, helpful and nice. We appreciated that they allowed more than one dog...so hard to find! Thank you and we hope to rent this property again!

I'm an avid cyclist, runner, hiker food and wine lover, all great reasons to live in or visit the Santa Ynez Valley.

The guest home is secluded as it sets amongst many trees and provides lots of privacy . Each of the surrounding properties are on a minimum of 5 acres. I bought the property in 2000 and had the guest home and main house built in 2002. There's also an organic farm in front of the property with fruits and vegetables for purchase on the honor system year round.

This is a very lovely and well-maintained home perfect for couple's, friends or family getaways/social distancing. The kitchen is fully furnished with cooking utensils, there's an outdoor BBQ, all helpful in managing the vacation budget.
Enjoy the open space for kids to run around, game room with Foosball and Ping Pong, and the private setting. The property also has an RV hook up and a 4,000 square-foot dog run.
