Great spot for a large group

We had a great time at Jardin Del Mar and enjoyed the secluded location and outdoor spaces! The beach access is totally walkable and has amazing tide pools if you have small children. Would recommend getting a golf cart cart or car to have the flexibility to get to town easily.

A work in progress

While the property management company was outstanding and always responded immediately, it was a bit tiring having a maintenance person have to come by on a daily basis to fix something. The remaining items needing fixed are the leaky dishwasher, the glass doors are very difficult to open/close, and the disturbing sound that occurs from above 2of the bedrooms several times/hr.

Lovely Refuge for a Recharge- Some Logistical Challenges

The home is a stunning as it looks in the photos and a great place for two families to play and relax. It a challenging walk to town when muddy and a large golf cart is highly recommended. The biggest complaint is that a fairly complicated house had no manual/directions/binder or any info. This required lots of unnecessary meetings (and wait times) with the prop mgrs. Missing items included coffee maker, blow dryers, dish wash soap, cable TV connection or streaming ability (world Cup!), directions on use of alarm, two towels per bath etc. All of these minor annoyances did not detract from the beautiful beach, jungle adventures and warm lovely Costa Rican people!

Lovely home to relax at

Great house. Well stocked and a pleasure to relax at Despite the construction, the house is very private and quiet. The walk to the beach is long. And with a surf board it is quite long (15-20 minutes for athletes ). So do not plan for anyone who is not fit - to make the trip.

Gated community in Guiones Beach, perfect for entertaining

House worked perfectly for us - good location, ensuite bathroom in each of the 4 bedrooms. and excellent rental agent. The Vacation Nosara Concierge team was fantastic. Highly recommend them and their referrals were awesome, particularly Gio for ATV rentals and Alejandro for private chef.

Garden of Peace

This was my second stay at Jardin Del Mar. I booked the house for a guys surf trip in the summer, discovered what a perfect spot this would make for a family vacation and brought back my wife & adult children. The bedroom setup with separate baths in each room works perfectly. We also enjoyed the pool and beautiful indoor/outdoor living areas. Communication with property management was excellent. They quickly answered any questions we had did not hesitate to replace a cracked coffee carafe with a brand new coffee maker. Waking up to the birds singing, watching the sunrise from the edge of the jungle and the beautiful walk to the beach along the community's private path were just a few of wonderful memories that beckon us for a return stay at Jardin Del Mar!

Unique bend of spaces.

This property worked well for our family with all of the basic amenities desired for an adventurous trip to Costa Rica. The personnel and management staff were so helpful and receptive to our needs, even accommodating us with last minute changes. The outdoor bathroom facilities were refreshing and unique. The back garden adjacent to undeveloped land welcomed a great diversity of birds. Walk to beach was safe and quick. The large glass walls in the common areas allowed us to feel like we were outside when we were actually inside! Cool place.

Really Perfect!!! Great location!!!

We had a group of 10. 3 couples and 4 kids. This house was perfect for us. Everything was clean and well cared for. The owner did a great job keeping in touch and making sure we had what we needed. This would be our first choice home on our next trip!

Garden of Eden by the beach

Or group thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Jardin Del Mar last week. The house was a delightful in person as it looked on the site. The place is new and in great shape. It's also an easy & beautiful walk to the beach, which proved to be an excellent location for our surf trip. The separate kitchen/living area is an interesting design, which we found added to the ability to have peace when others wish to stay up. We also loved having fresh limes and coconuts available at arm's reach in the back yard. We hadn't stayed in a gated section of Playa Guiones before but found the very slight separation to add to the sense of tranquility, while still remaining convenient to what mattered to us. There are several very good restaurants within walking distance and we did walk into town, but opted to drive to some of our favorite haunts in different sections of town. Property management was very responsive and helpful in recommending local health professionals to take our COVID test at the house in preparation for return to the US. Enjoy your stay. Pura Vida!

Nosara trip

Costa Rica is a beautiful country and Nosara is a special place. Home was very accommodating for 2 families (total of 9). Having the bedrooms separate from the main house was very nice.

Good beach house, great location

Jardín Del Mar is a great house for adults and teens, not for little kids. Rooms are very independent. My kids 10 and 12 years old didn’t want to sleep along in one of rooms because they are outside rooms. Location is great !!! Beach is super nice only a 10 minutes nice walk. I didn’t like the outside bathrooms. my husband loved it. I was the one cleaning all the bugs not him ever Day lol !!! The beach and surfing is great. They only have plastic cups. So No wine glasses 😂. Also no hair dryer or flat iron 😂. Not that u need it to much but just to keep it in mind. We enjoyed our stay. We will love to come back to Nosara one day.

Perfect for Beach Getaway

We had a group of 7 adults and teens staying in Costa Rica. The house is located in Guiones Beach Club, which is a gated community with 24 hour security. The neighborhood is beautiful, and has a private access beach path about 400m from the house. The property has a lovely common area, great pool, and a row of 4 bedrooms. All of the adjoining bathrooms are outdoors, which is actually really nice in a climate like CR. Facilities are clean and well maintained. Marco was our main contact, and was very helpful in getting us settled and arranging some activities for us. Overall, we had a great beach vacation, and the property was an ideal place to enjoy the everything Playa Guiones has to offer!

Nice location, average rental.

The easy walk to beach access was great, and we enjoyed how quiet the neighborhood felt given its downtown location. The property management company was also very polite. However the rental itself felt pretty worn. Furnishings could use a refresh, rooms & living area needed some additional furniture, not much to speak of in terms of view. Pool was low for most of our stay and badly chipped along the water feature. The home was clean upon arrival, but didn't feel like it got a thorough clean mid-stay. Overall we felt like it needed some TLC. Paid for the location on this one.

Guiones Beach Club

Loved our stay at the Jardin Del Mar. Short walk to beach, and yoga. Unique design allows lots of privacy among the group. Each bedroom has its own bathroom.,modern design. And the property managers and their concierge service. They were great and definitely added value - they arranged transfers, gave us a heads up about a turtle hatching, arranged horseback riding and had suggestions for surf board rentals. Big thanks to Sara who also wrote timely and thoughtfully, Alberto who made sure any issues were deal with quickly and professionally and Josh who was always available to make sure we were happy.
