Anny greeted us warmly and sat down to go over a map of Mt. Dessert Island/Acadia National Park, and point out several key local sites and activities for our stay. The place is impressively well equipped with appliances and conveniences. Castille soap, shampoo, and conditioner are right there in the renovated shower, with a sophisticated rain forest and hand held shower valve that starts with hot water and then mixes in cold. Full kitchen for all your food prep needs. Excellent washer and dryer. Overall comfy and cozy stay. Thanks, Anny!

Anny was an amazing host, she gave us a guided tour of the island on her amazing water proof map. She was very helpful on what to see and where to eat. The treetop apartment had a very well stocked kitchen and was very clean! Would definitely recommend staying here when visiting Acadia.

Nice location on the quietside of the Island. Anny had great recommendations for hikes and restaurants Tharp were close by so we enjoyed activities rather than spending a lot of time in the car

Great sightseeing tips!

Very well appointed kitchen and bath. She provided a paper map (island internet connection is spotty) with island tips for getting around I didn’t find elsewhere. We followed her excellent advice. Very comfortable place. Loved our stay!

Magical spot

This Delightful treehouse had everything we needed and more. It was a great home base to explore from and very cozy to return to. The linens were especially nice quality.

Amazing!!

We arrived later in the evening. We had no trouble finding the property. We walked in and immediately felt comfortable! Anny’s quiet treetop property was just that! It was fabulous and quiet and surrounded by trees. Anny’s place had everything we could possibly need and more. We thought about just moving in permanently. 😊 We are already beginning to plan another trip back to Anny’s and the amazing Mt Desert Island, Maine! Thank you Anny for making our trip even more special!!

Treetop

We found the apartment to be clean and well stocked with any amenity we might need. The bed was comfortable, the location, perfect. We traveled around Mount Desert Island and engaged in many different activities and easily returned to our space at the end of the day. The host was very knowledgable about where to go eat and what to do. She even guided us to a beautiful spot to witness a meteor shower. It was the crown jewel of our four day trip.

We enjoy are guests and love sharing experiences. many of our guests have come as visitors and left as Friends Wende,who died in 2024 ( wish you could have met him) grew up on this island and was a Lobster Fisherman most of his life, as well as many other jobs. Today he is a Walmart Greeter. He also has written a book called “Working the Sea” we have a copy downstairs. Anny was a Stained Glass Artist and specialized in Restoration and Commissions, She has restored many famous Tiffany Windows that are in some of the Churches in the area.We will be available for you as much or as little as you wish. I hope we have made your stay as comfortable and relaxing as we can. I hope you return often I love when people come as guests and leave as friends We also have a furry doorbell !Grabriel who will greet you with a loud bark! He is our angel who loves a belly scratch! He is not allowed upstairs, and we do not wish you to encourage it WE DO NOT ALLOW PETS UNLESS IT IS A REGISTERED SERVICE DOG,NOT SUPPORT DOGS

Treetop Is located in a muted light forest, you look into the leaves of trees , and awake with birds. This is the quiet side of the island ,away from the hordes of people on the other side.I designed Treetop to hopefully be relaxing and have simple comfort. a place to relax after you have explored our beautiful island, or a great place to just hang out and read a book and just be quiet. and equipped to the teeth !We are close to town and even closer to the ocean as well as the Park. Wendell and I are here to help you find that perfect activity for the day, or just come down and share some time with us. These are the reasons you chose this type of accommodation it is not a hotel or motel and you interact with people who might turn into friends!

We are in a forest so it is cooler than in town , we have a nice fire pit to sit and read by, or have a drink before dinner as well as Make S'mores with the kids! The kitchen is equipped with almost everything you possibly have at home + French Press and Coffee machine , Italian roast coffee and decaf in the freezer, and a Ninja for smoothies . TV with Prime and Netflix great books and games and puzzles. toys for small children ( which are bleached after any children come)and kids books.We have tried to make people comfortable and welcome.
