Property owner was not present at check in. I messaged him for arrival and entry instructions and only received address and was told there was a lock box on the door. Upon arrival, we eventually discovered the door was unlocked with a lock box on the handle. Less than 5 feet from our bed was a dehumidifier that had instructions to empty when full…VERY LOUD. We didn’t bring in our luggage as everything smelled like a damp basement. There was a binder on the table with a list of instructions. If you don’t follow the instructions on the remote for heat/air, you will be charged $100 for a repair person to come out to fix. Also, for EVERY 15 minutes beyond your 10am check out time, you will be charged $50. Rules posted everywhere…kitchen, bathroom,etc. We left at 7:30 am. This was not the place for us!
