This Alaskan Needed to See Some Green!

This is a well kept property with a fabulous view of the ocean. The pool is exceptionally nice and clean and the property is situated about a quarter mile away from some world class snorkeling. I would highly recommend staying her.

nice townhouse in convenient location

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The unit was clean and nicely laid out for our family. The resort has nice grill and kid-friendly pool facilities. We saw several turtles swimming in the sea right by the unit. Unfortunately it was too dangerous to snorkel there because of the proliferation of urchins on the rocks that made it tricky to get in and out. Other beaches are a half mile away. The AC in one room was not working and a tech spent a whole afternoon there but it still stopped working that night.

Townhouse With a View

Wildlife right outside your door. From the lanai we saw several kinds of birds, an otter, several mongooses, sea turtles, and yellow tangs swimming in the surf. Now I know why Hawaii is called The Golden Coast. Add unbelievable sunsets and a cozy townhouse with all of the amenities and you have your vacation getaway.

The townhome is walking distance from one of the best snorkeling beaches on the island as well as a restaurants and shopping. Great two bedroom town home with direct view of the ocean and beach. Townhome has everything you need for your beach days (chairs, umbrella, etc.) and the community offers a great pool and outdoor grills. The community is beautiful, and very well cared for. Check in and out was easy and management was very responsive. Made for a great stay!

Wonderful views from the big slider in main living area and out to the lanai, and from master bedroom. Management is tops - sent repairman within 30 minutes when refrigerator went down. Complex has clean pool area and nice tennis courts. This side of the complex is quiet. Kitchen has been thoughtfully outfitted for casual cooking. (though could use some new glassware)Enjoyed our stay very much!

Lovely Oceanview townhouse

The rental process, check-in & check-out went smoothly. The townhouse was centrally located to all the venues we wanted to visit. Plenty of recommendations on the rental app. Plenty of room for our party of four. Comfortable beds and bedding. All the amenities we needed. Common areas were great with the pool, tennis/pickle ball courts, covered eating and ping pong table. Reserved parking spot and easy access to the ocean to search tidal pools in the morning. Definitely recommend if you want to be close to Kona without being in the middle of congestion/traffic. Made for a very relaxing stay.

Unit is in a great, oceanfront location with a nice beach just steps away. The unit is fully outfitted including beach chairs and cooler! Appliances are newer, but the unit is very dated and a bit shabby. There are broken floor tiles and grout in the upstairs bathroom. The kitchen counter tile grout is stained so looks dirty. All the wood trim on the counters needs to be refinished. We like the convenience of the nearby shopping center and town in a quick 15 minute drive. Overall we would recommend with caveats.

Ocean view

Stunning ocean view from the master bedroom upstairs. Was really happy to find 3 boogie boards, an umbrella and chairs, and games, and a cooler! Well stocked kitchen. We could cut through the bushes and the ocean was right there (otherwise just walk around the end of the building)!! Wonderful sound of the ocean each night. Plenty of fans. This unit does not have AC. It was fine without it while we were there (May 24th to June 2nd). The unit is close enough to town, though you will need to have a car. We used the pool, ping pong table and barbecue grills. Make sure to do the night snorkel with manta rays. My second time doing it, and it was incredible as the first time. We used Sea Paradise. My 6 year granddaughter did the snorkel with the manta rays!! The crew was very kind to her. I truly can’t think of anything that was missing!

Best views at KKS&R!

Reviewer Comments: We rent homes and condos a couple of times every year for the past 20 years or more, so experiences have been extensive from iffy to wonderful. This condo was up in the upper level for sure! Best in ocean views from the Lani and the MBR. Many little niceties were furnished as well, such as beach chairs and towels, an ice cooler with a large ice pack in the freezer to use. Everything was clean, operable and appeared well maintained. My cudo’s to the owners and the management and my thanks. We stayed with another couple in this unit and two other couples rented a similar condo a few doors away. Their comments was that they were going to return here again, but wanted me to give them the rental info for our condo for their next visit. That says it all there. My only less than positive comment is that the kitchen is not always as important to some renters as me, but I prefer preparing meals in to always eating out. While it was well stocked with cooking and serving utensils, it lacked in simple things like salt/pepper, spices and some basic condiments. A little stale coffee (Folgers, yuk) was there when we arrived. Possibly some starter packs of a nice Kona Coffee section to kick off the settle in period for later arrivals would be nice.

A Taste of Kona

This was our first visit to Kona after a brief stop on a cruise ship years ago. What a delightful perfectly located unit! Steps from one of the best snorkeling spots in the area. Amazing marine life along a quiet beach. The club amenities were nice and we BBQ’d several times. Quiet with the roaring surf right there!!! We will be back.

Wonderful stay

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Amazing view from the patio and the bedroom ! The property was clean and well maintained.
