The house does set on the bluff (edge of the mountain). Safety is a must. There is a large front yard for play.
It would be of great help if you could wash a load of towels or sheets, prior to your exit. Do No exit the house with the Washer or Dryer running.

Fantastic Stay in Trenton, GA!

We recently had the pleasure of staying at at this beautiful home in Trenton, GA, and it exceeded all our expectations. From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. The property was spotless, well-maintained, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed for a comfortable stay.The location was perfect for exploring the surrounding areas, including nearby hiking trails and scenic lookouts. The peaceful, quiet setting allowed us to relax and unwind after our daily adventures. We particularly enjoyed sitting on the porch, soaking in the views of the rolling hills and the serene countryside.The host was incredibly responsive and made sure we had all the information we needed prior to our arrival. They went above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyable, offering local tips and recommendations that enhanced our trip.The amenities were excellent, with cozy beds, a well-equipped kitchen, and plenty of space for everyone in our group. Whether we were cooking meals together or simply lounging in the living area, the home provided the perfect blend of comfort and functionality.We can’t recommend this property enough to anyone visiting the Trenton area. It's ideal for a family getaway, a couples' retreat, or even a quiet solo escape. We hope to return someday to enjoy it all over again!

Perfect place to get away

We visited our son again for parents weekend at his college, and this was the perfect location to be as a family for a nice long weekend. House is easy to find, very clean, and has all the things you will need as you were in your own home, then the basics such as mom and pop restaurant, groceries, even some fast food places are not that far. Also it was the perfect place to sit outside and watch the night sky! we even got a perfect view of the tsuchinshan-atlas comet. We will definitely be back.

Beautiful View!

We very much enjoyed our long weekend at this property. It was clean and perfect for our family! The view from the back deck was spectacular…the sunrises were the best! It was an easy drive to Cloudland Canyon were we spent most of our time. Thank you so much for opening up your home.

Hiking Getaway

We had such a fantastic stay. Check in was a breeze, the house was so clean and comfortable, and the beds were also comfortable (which you can't say for every VRBO property!). The house is close to a variety of hiking spots, waterfalls and the Raccoon Mountain caves. We had a couple of questions prior to and during our stay, and Marsha responded to us right away and was so kind. She also had great recommendations for dining and grocery stores. We simply couldn't have asked for more. We had a great experience dealing with the owners and hope to stay there again in the future. Highly recommend!

Great Chattanooga get away!!

Beautiful Home located just outside of Chattanooga. Very clean almost like new. Great view overlooking the ridge of the moutains.

Fabulous views and great home

Extremely nice home, spacious. Accommodated 5 adults easily with large bedrooms, kitchen and dining room. Views overlooking the mountains from the deck are spectacular. Home is well equipped with all the everyday needs. We cooked all of our dinners there as the kitchen was huge and excellently stocked with appliances, dishware and utensils. Would definitely return if so inclined to re-visit the area. This is not meant as a criticism, but the view suggests that this may be a remote location but the home sits on a state route and there is regular traffic. In no way did this detract from our stay. Chattanooga is easily accessed within 30 minutes and we enjoyed day trips to Downtown Chattanooga, Lookout Mountain, Ruby Falls, Chickamauga Battlefield, Cloudland State Park as well as Unclaimed Baggage store in Scottsboro, AL. I definitely recommend.

Just Perfect

This was a perfect location for our family of 5 (Dad, Mom, and Three Kids Between the Ages of 8-14) to relax and explore the mountains and greater Chattanooga area. The owners were very communicative and were very good about responding to our questions. Highly recommended.

“Our Bit of Heaven”

The pictures of Our Bit of Heaven on the VRBO site are accurate. The decor was pleasing. Windows on the back side of the house enabled us to see the beautiful vistas of the valleys and hills behind us. Unfortunately, the weather (remnants of Hurricane Nicole) and chilly temperatures kept us from enjoying the deck. The bed was comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked, and the house provided us a peaceful get away.

Relaxing, friendly, solitude.

We had such a nice stay at this property. Family of four I can’t relax to save my life but sitting on the back deck drinking my coffee, unaged me 10 years. Marsha the owner and I conversed. She was so kind and her property was renter friendly, She had better cookware in the kitchen than I have at my house! The property feels secluded and quiet but very close to great hiking and all that Chattanooga has to offer.. thank you for having us

Fabulous mountain valley view!

We had a great time staying here! The deck has a fabulous view over the mountain valley. We spent a lot of time just chatting and eating out on the deck just soaking up the zen of the place. We love waterfall hikes and found many good ones within an easy drive. The house was very nice, tidy with comfy beds, and plenty of space for the six of us to stretch out. I would highly recommend this place!

A very nice house with a great view

This house is very nicely decorated and very, very good condition. It has a very comfortable "feel" to it. It is a located on a country highway a few miles from the nearest town and about 25 minutes from a city. It has a very good view overlooking a large rural and wooded valley. It is a great location for gathering with other adults. While children would be fine in property, there is not much to occupy them there. However, it is a good "base location" for seeing local attractions especially if driving 20-30 minutes is okay with your plans. I would recommend this location.

I'm sending other people back here, and I"ll be back next year.

Mrs. Strobel has a lovely house with a heart stopping view. My college roommates and I have a long weekend each fall to cook and grill a ton of food, drink good wine and whiskey, and watch all the football games. We couldn't have been more comfortable or more pleased. A very throroughly stocked kitchen was so helpful to us. A large covered deck was glorious. Some may fuss over the proximity of the road. But Mrs. Strobel can't exactly help THAT, now can she? Go stay at this house. You'll enjoy it so much. Just don't book it when I want to go next year!
