Beautiful Home in the Trees

Convenient and comfortable, well appointed. So comfortable to return to at the end of each day. Harriett was attentive and gave great suggestions for things to do. Would definately stay here again.

Excellent directions to the location & instructions to use everything. Responded quickly with thorough answers to every question. Very clean. Cozy. Beautiful place all the way around. Wonderful getaway! Gorgeous views through numerous windows. Fireplace easy-flip switch. Soft beds! Included a carport & near-safe trash cans. They’ve thought of everything! Best place I’ve ever rented! I will be back!

Peaceful Mountain Aire

The condo is beautiful, clean and cozy. It was fully stocked with everything that my family needed for a nice getaway in the mountains. There were even umbrellas, extra batteries and a bear horn (that we didn't need at all but very nice to have). The view was amazing. We cooked and enjoyed the peaceful rest by the fireplace. The owner was very easy to communicate with, responded quickly when answering questions, was very welcoming and told us all that we needed to know to prepare. It was the perfect home away from home. We plan to visit again and stay in Mountain Aire.

Wonderful stay with amazing hosts!

We loved this property. The condo is beautiful and we can't wait to return! We thought we were going to be snowed in and our hosts graciously offered us an extra night ON THEM to stay so we were comfortable and could enjoy the snow! They communicated often, gave us tips on where to visit and had a fully equipped and stocked kitchen(even wine). I cannot rave enough! We can't wait to visit with our kids and enjoy the beautiful mountains!

Wooded getaway

This is a lovely, comfortable condo in a beautiful setting. It is beautifully furnished and the kitchen is well stocked. We loved sitting on the deck among the treetops as well as enjoying the light of the gas fireplace.

Missing the tree house

I feel like God truly led us to this spot at this time. We needed this beautiful patio and view in this place that felt so homey and safe. It was a pleasure to communicate with Harriet and the condo and view was perfect for us. It is well furnished and comfortable. We hope to come back when we can.

Beautiful mountain retreat

The property is exactly as described--beautiful and comfortable. Everything we needed was on site, including walking sticks to explore the hiking trails in the area. The property manager was very responsive--communicating several times before our stay and a few times during. There was a road closure that caused some transportation issues for a day or two of our stay and Harriet was conscientious about checking in with us to make sure we were safe. I'd stay here again and recommend the space. Home is about 35 minutes from Asheville, not too far to travel in for dinner. Burnsville has groceries, shops, and other supplies if needed.

Beautiful condo and community.

From the moment we walked in, we knew we were going to have a wonderful stay. The condo is even more beautiful in person. We enjoyed exploring the area and hiking during the day. We prepared nice dinners each evening while enjoying the quiet in front of the fireplace. Would totally recommend this place for a nice getaway.

Exceeds Expectations; Superb and beyond!

It is hard to know where to start on this vacation rental, as we were so pleased on all fronts. When we arrived for our 6 week stay, we were immediately comfortable. The owner has gone to great lengths to make this a very usable, yet still stylish and well furnished place to stay. In addition to 2 walk-in closets, there are tons of drawer space. In the master bedroom, there is a large 5 drawer bureau, a good sized desk and two bedside tables with three drawers each. The guest bedroom also has a nice size 3 draw chest in addition to its walk-in. We used the spare bedroom only for a short family visit, but immediately filled all master closet and bureaus with all our clothes and hiking gear, which always seems to take a lot of space. The point being, from the moment we walked in, it was so easy to put everything away and just make yourself at home and be comfortable. We had some cold days and nights so loved the gas fireplace in the living room. The kitchen is large and well equipped, again with lots of space. We had a very early start and long journey to get there, so it was lovely to be greeted with a bottle of nice wine and cheese. In addition to the condo itself which is well built with nice sized rooms, we were so pleased with the trails right outside our front door. Since my husband is now putting off knee replacement for as long as he can( maybe forever) his hiking was limited. Even so, we enjoyed so many hiking options within an hour's drive of the condo, as well as Creekside Park and several trails right next to the unit. When he needed to take a day of rest, it was still so easy for me to pop out and get in my 4 plus miles. So full disclosure, this may have been the most beautiful fall ever--and the walk right outside the unit was as spectacular as any we found on the other trails we visited. The owner has put all kinds of hiking info, as well as restaurant suggestions in a welcome packet inside the unit, which we referred to often and which was so helpful. The unit is surrounded by trees, which makes you feel like you are in the middle of a forest instead of part of a gated community. We sat out on the porch whenever we could, with its views of the mountains in the distance, but we were happy to just be in the middle of all those trees, which we saw from every window. This unit is on the bottom level of three, so we were very happy that noise from above was never an issue. It is also very important than any questions or concerns we had were promptly answered and dealt with by the owner. A note on the nearby town of Burnsville. It is quiet, small, but after the frenzy of people we encountered in other more "touristy" spots, we were thrilled to retreat to our little corner of hidden heaven. We most definitely recommend this place and hope to be returning next year!

Beautiful location, condo and people

The condo was nice and clean. Location was perfect for us. Located about 40 minutes away from Asheville and close enough to Burnsville to grab a bite. Saw the sites we wanted and the changing of the leaves were beautiful from the condo. I would recommend.

Perfect

Property is exactly as advertised, charming and very clean. It is easy to find, yet secluded and never far away from grocery stores and other amenities. The kitchen is well stocked and plenty of TVs with free netflix abound. WIFI is strong (I got a download speed of 23 MBPS). The owner is friendly, responsive and helpful. They even allowed us a flexible check out time since there were nobody right behind us. Last but not the least, fantastic views from the deck!

Very nice condo in a great location.

The condo was good-sized and nicely outfitted. The location was beautiful and there are great trails accessible 100 yards from the door. Be aware that the location is on the side of a mountain and the trails and roads are steep. If you want to go for a walk you will need to be in decent shape for climbing and descending.

Pictures don't do this place justice!

This place was absolutely perfect for our stay. The area is quiet and peaceful while the cabin condo is very cozy and romantic. Just what we needed for our wedding night! The pictures really don't do this place justice as it looks even more gorgeous in person and there are some excellent views from the back patio. The owner was also extremely helpful and prompt in answering our questions. Kitchen was well-stocked with every necessity and we lacked nothing overall. Would highly recommend and we may just come back for our wedding anniversary!

Elegant accommodations with a summer camp theme.

This was a great place to relax and very central to everything western NC has to offer! We loved the decor and numerous thoughtful touches. The condo is part of a planned community that is very tastefully nestled into the mountain with great views, trails, a charming picnic area with stream/pond/mill. Nearest town is Burnsville, which was charming and can satisfy every shopping need. Served well as a launch pad for excursions into other charming towns like Mars Hill, Marshall, Asheville, Biltmore Estate, not to mention the natural beauty of Blue Ridge Parkway, Linville Falls, Grandfather Mountain, etc., etc., etc.!

Wonderful condo!

Beautifully decorated with wonderful treetop and mountain views. Very clean and well stocked and felt more like a home than a rental. Love the wooden deck leading out into the trees as seen in the photo. Great place for your morning coffee. Owners extremely nice people and very accommodating. Short drive to great restaurants in Burnsville and neighboring towns. Will definitely rent again if ever in the area.
