The house itself was beautiful. It was spacious and clean. It was nice to be able to come home at the end of the day of activities to comfortable beds and space to unwind. We've never spent this much money on a vacation but thought we would like to try living the "high life". What you don't see in the pictures is the back space overlooks the road and, in the morning, there was a LOT of construction traffic and noise. The description boasted on-site restaurants. We enjoyed the food. But, there were two times when we had to come and pick it up ourselves. One time, they were too busy for take-out but said they could accommodate us if we ate in the restaurant? Very irritating… After twilight golf, we went in and the menu was restricted to very few items. So, the onsite restaurants ended up being a frustration to us. Also, for the amount of money we paid, I found it irritating that once we used up the provided coffee filters and garbage bags, there was a note that we would have to provide our own. Really?!! So, while the house and surrounding area was gorgeous, I feel like there are probably a lot of other options that would be of better value. I had high expectations for the cost and it definitely didn't meet them.
