Casa Luna is a modern stucco home. That gives you a little feel of Mexico in Bend, Oregon. This contemporary home has heated concrete floors and a gas fireplace. There is a fully equipped gourmet kitchen. Tall ceilings throughout the house make it light and bright with plenty of sunlight. There is a private deck upstairs for relaxing and star gazing at night. This is a perfect westside location. There are 4 cruiser bikes to ride to your favorite restaurant on Newport Ave or downtown for some shopping.

This passive solar home has two bedrooms upstairs with the main bathroom in between. The half bathroom is located downstairs. Each bedroom has king beds provided with fresh linens. The gas fireplace and heated floors will keep you warm and toasty in the winter and the three A/C mini splits will keep you cool in the summer.

Casa Luna is pet friendly! Outside, you will find a private enclosed space for your pet. The back patio includes a place for dining and relaxing. Also included is a BBQ, and a private salt system hot tub! You will have your own carport for parking one vehicle and additional space out back for another vehicle to park safely.

Need more space? Casa Sol is right beside Casa Luna. They can be rented together for the whole crew. Casa Sol has two bedrooms and both houses could sleep up to 8 guests comfortably. * Additional rates apply for the separate home. Please ask for availability if wanting to rent together.

Comfortable and convenient

The place was well represented, clean, and located close to many attractions (the kids loved Hillside Park). We enjoyed staying there and would recommend!

Needed a spot close to town

We stayed six nights and had a wonderful time. Perfect spot for BBQ'ing after a long day of hiking and site-seeing nearby. Fully stocked kitchen and had all the amenities needed to simply pack your bags and GO.

Great place

We loved everything. Location, heated floors, hot tub being set at a usable temp, responsive managers, well stocked, gas fireplace. Cozy place and SO walkable. Probably the best place in bend as far as walkability.

Cozy and charming

My husband an I really enjoyed our stay here. One of my favorite parts was the heated floors which if you know Bend in the winter, it made the mornings easy to wake up. The house was very clean and the king size bed very comfortable.

Very clean. Great area. Perfect compact but comfy size for our family of 4 and one small dog. Great as a base to explore bend. Walking distance to countless restaurants, shopping etc.

Very clean and cozy!

We loved this house. It was clean, the beds and pillows were wonderful, the air conditioning worked well, it was quiet, and it had all the amenities a person could need. The only thing that could have made it better was to be a little closer to the downtown area so we could walk. 😀

Nice house close to everything

This is our 2nd stay in bend through Stone's Throw and both have been great experiences. The house was very clean and had everything. Comfy beds and close to everything. Not to mention the price was great! Their customer is great at making sure you have a great experience. We will be back and staying with Stone's Throw

We have already been to this place once, yet again…hasn’t let us down at all. The entire house was clean and neat, heated floors is a plus. The host were very friendly and quick with them responses. 100% would recommend.

Simple, neat, accommodating.

We had a great stay there recently. We never used the kitchen (just the coffee maker) but it seemed adequate and in good shape. Very comfortable mattress. Used the hot tub every evening. It was ready and to temp when we got there. Heated floors were enjoyed, even ran the small fireplace for a bit. Used the TV a bit. Quiet weekend. No complaints.

Quiet but walkable

Stayed for a week with our 2 yo and small dog. Area was easily walkable to both downtown and west side eateries/grocery (10-15 mins) yet felt very safe and quiet for evenings putting the toddler down. 10 min walk to a few great parks for kids. Great communication with management. They had a pack and play we rented for the time which was super convenient. Only prepared breakfast at the place but kitchen appears very well appointed for those interested in cooking in. Loved the idea of the bike cruisers and will hopefully have a chance to use them in the future when our little gets bigger! Cozy beds, nice bathroom products, great washer/dryer. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

A gem.

Our family greatly enjoyed our stay at Casa Luna. The location was perfect. We walked into downtown Bend several times visiting restaurants, brew pubs and activities in Drake Park. Our stay was very comfortable as Casa Luna had all the amenities we could possibly want, was very clean and tidy, and had one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in over decades of travel. The design and decor was very clever and charming. Although we did not use the bikes we certainly would have if our stay had been longer. The hot tub was a treat after a long day of hiking. Over the years we have stayed in other VRBO properties near Bend, as well as hotels and I can say that Casa Luna is a real gem among them. We will certainly choose to stay there again when our travels take us to Central Oregon.

Just what we needed

After living in Bend for seven years and moving in 2019 we returned to visit this spring, finally, and chose Casa Luna for our stay. We couldn’t have picked a better spot. The location can’t be beat - whether your plan is to walk downtown, drive out to Bachelor, run on the river trail, visit the Old Mill or Box Factory…you have easy access to 97 and Cascade Lakes Highway. And, the house itself is spotless clean and well taken care of. The experience is just as described in the listing with comfortable beds, a relaxing hot tub, and everything you need for a quick trip or a longer stay. We’d love to stay at Casa Luna again!
