Sherrie, First of all, thank you for taking the time to write this review. Guest comments and critiques are very important to us as we constantly strive to improve our overall experience. We apologize for any lack of response you observed through the VRBO website, we do our best to reply to all questions we get through this portal, however, we did not receive any questions. We are happy to hear that any correspondence you had directly through our company (via email and phone) went smoothly, and we encourage our guests to reach out frequently during their stay if they are experiencing any issues. Although we did not receive any notice of the internet issues it sounds like you were experiencing, we have a maintenance crew available during our business hours (8:30AM-5:30PM, 7 days a week during the summer) to respond to these types of calls. We are aware of the condition of the carpets and a few of the dining room chairs you mentioned in your review, and have been working with the owner of this unit to have them replaced this Fall. Our units are always stocked with salt, pepper, soap, trash bags, dish and laundry detergent, among other toiletries. We apologize, as it appears this unit was an exception, and those items will not be missed again. As you also mentioned, this unit is situated in a great spot within walking distance to the gondola, coupled with great valley and mountain views, making it the perfect year-round location to vacation with family, friends, or both. As the shuttle does not run in the summer, we hope you and your family were still able to get outside and enjoy the beautiful steamboat weather. Please accept our sincerest apologies, as we hope these items won’t deter you from staying with us again in the future.
