Many things were Not operational!!! Electrical outlets, , smoke detectors, toaster, TVs. Sparse furniture which is in poor condition,, extremely poor landscaping, ceiling fans that didn’t work, etc., etc.,.

Thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry to hear that your stay did not meet your expectations. However, we would like to clarify a few points mentioned in your review. The electrical outlets in the property are connected to dimmer switches, and the ceiling fans are operated by remote controls that are paired with the same dimmer system. If you were unfamiliar with how to operate them, we would have been more than happy to assist if you had contacted us during your stay. Regarding the smoke detectors, only one unit in the master bedroom was missing batteries, as it had been damaged by a previous guest. Had this been reported at check-in, we could have replaced it immediately, as our office is located less than a mile away and our team is available to respond quickly to maintenance concerns. We also regret that the condition of the furniture and the landscaping did not meet your expectations. Everyone’s standards and preferences can be different. We continually maintain and update the home as required. Our goal is always to ensure that everything is fully operational and that guests have a comfortable and safe stay. We strongly encourage guests to contact us during their visit if anything is not working properly so we can resolve the issue right away. Guest safety and comfort are extremely important to us, and we take all feedback seriously. Thank you for bringing your concerns to our attention.

Clean and cozy

We enjoyed staying at this vacation home! The house was very clean, and felt spacious for our family of six. The beds were comfortable. It was handy having a washer and dryer so we could pack lighter. It was also very kind of the host to provide linens. The neighborhood felt safe, we enjoyed taking walks with our kids. There were several stores and restaurants nearby. We enjoyed several nice beaches within 25 to 30 min drive. We would be happy to stay here again.

Beautiful house, but with several annoying deficiencies which would not be that hard to correct. Yard/grounds were in absolutely deplorable condition until landscapers arrived several days into our stay. Still, a pretty satisfactory stay overall.

House was amazing and close to the beach

The home and host was amazing. Nicely furnished, clean and has a beautiful large screened patio, with a waterfall and the stars are a lovely site at night. We would for sure stay here again. Close to all stores and about 20 minutes at most to the beaches. Comes equipped with everything for your cooking needs. Two things I want to point out; 1. The Master is a Queen Bed not a King as stated in the description. 2. There are 3 SMART TVs in the home no local channels or cable is provided. Which means if you have accounts with the apps that are listed in the smart TV you need to know all your account username and password to log in to use the TV. We travel with a RoKu and Firestick so this was not an issue for our stay.. Thank you again for sharing your home and Have A Happy 2019 Year.

Decent place and location

The house was nice, the beds were decent. The furniture and cooking items in the kitchen were very lacking. The couch and chairs in the living room were old and broke down and sort of junky. The pans for cooking were extremely old and so heavily scratched we did not want to cook with them. The dishwasher was not even attached under the counter, it could be pulled right out of its location. The racks in the dishwasher were burnt and damaged that it could not be used. It was a decent place but we didn’t feel like there was much concern from the owner as to the comforts of home one would look for in a VRBO. Like comfortable and undamaged furniture, undamaged cooking utensils. However the home was relatively clean and nice outside of those few issues. I would recommend this VRBO but hope those items are corrected for the next renters. We did enjoy or stay.

Nice place to spend a few weeks.

Overall very nice stay. Provided clean accommodations at a fair price to allow us and our friends time to spend together and enjoy the springs. I prefer a little more communication, but that could be personal preference. Thank you for the stay.

Excellent house near Venice

Picked this location close to family living in Venice, Florida. Close to Publix, and other shopping. We thought the hot springs were closed due to our Mapquest, but it was open just down the street. House was comfortable and clean. The landscaping could use a little TLC. Great stay, would definitely come here again.

Deceiving

Cascade is trashed, Master bed is not king and not comfortable, Ceiling fan in master bed doesn’t work, Master bathroom had mold, Lots of dust and dead bugs on windowsills, kitchen sink was super dirty, lock on door to garage broken so could not lock door, overgrown bushes and lawn. Overall do not recommend.

Home Away

Great house for four adults looking for sun and warm weather. It is far enough away from beach traffic and close enough to several really good beaches. The floor plan is well suited for adults or families.

Convenient to lots

Nice house. All basic amenities supplied. Last minute extended stay was handled very easily with manager who was quick to respond. Was perfect for our family. Location was great for us and the adventures we had while there. Make sure to visit Sharks just down the road for the best fish!

Mixed feelings -

Nice clean house with a great floor plan. We were disappointed there wasn't any backyard. (a screened in lanai is in back of house) Greenery around house is immensely overgrown. Management was fast to answer all questions. Posted rules state the thermostat was not to be set by us to go below 75 degrees, and it was locked at 73 degrees. The outside temp was over 90 degrees a few days which made it quite uncomfortable in the house. We ended up going to Lowes and buying a big fan for relief. We were booked for almost 2 months. We left the house as clean as it was when we checked in.
