Awesome stay overall. Everything went as it should. Good location in terms of being close to restaurants, grocery, etc. only critique here is the pool definitely needs work. Tile and paint is chipping so we really had to make sure my niece was careful around the edges.

Non-Smokers beware! Listing says “No Smoking. Smoking Not Permitted.” However, upon opening the door the night of check in we were immediately hit with the strong odor of cigarette smoke. Upon further investigation, we found ashtrays on the patio with a sign permitting smoking on the patio. If that wasn’t bad enough the garage is also a designated smoking area with ashtrays and an intense odor. All the bedding and towels smelled like smoke. It was infuriating to get out to the shower and wipe down with a smoke scented towel. Not only that but to do any sort of laundry resulted in our personal items reeking of smoke. I would have considered the initial smells of smoke to be an accident, possibly someone broke the rules. However, for a home less than 1000k square feet there were 8 air fresheners! They were obviously trying to mask the smell. The interior of the home itself is immaculately clean. They clearly have an excellent cleaning crew. But there are loads of other issues with the rental. The neighborhood is loud and rundown. The house is looks nice in photos, but the furniture in the pictures is NOT the actual furniture in the house. The bathtub wouldn’t drain, we took out the plug to find is jammed with hair. The floor of the tub is also squishy, like there is water between the layers. Paint is pealing off the house. Overall, this was a very disappointing rental for us will not recommend to our friends.

Neglected property maintenance

The house is in poor shape and hasn't been maintained. Dirty carpeting, area around the pool is cracked and chipping. The bathtub drain and sink were both clogged, and the owner neglected to do anything about it during our three months stay. The latch on the sliding glass door wouldn't lock. Spare bedroom fan was loose and wobbly.

Very nice home in a nice relatively quiet neighborhood. Well stocked spice cabinet and kitchen. Anything we needed was there. Almost like being home. Only a couple miles to Warm Mineral Springs Park.

Excellent choice in North Port

The house had everything you could need. The beds were very comfy and more then enough linen and pillows. The location was great. The pool is clean and the TV is a bonus. Really enjoyed our stay.

Great for our baseball trip

Loved how close it was to the baseball fields my son was playing it. The pool was great for cooling off after the fields. House had everything we needed. Will definitely book again should we ever be back in that area.

Family time

It was perfect for us. My niece (Colorado), my sister (Nebraska) and myself (Massachusetts) wanted to get away for some relaxing, quality time with family. My nephew lives in North Port so it was a blessing to find this home that fit our needs perfectly. We had a wonderful time. Quiet neighborhood, great host, clean, comfortable and everything and anything to make it truly home away from home.

One shell house

The property is well maintained.Everything is as described in pictures.A tiny bit difficult to find on the street because the numbers are worn off the mailbox and none on the house.Pool is lovely and well maintained but a little difficult to get out of for a senior with bad knees.The residential area is very quiet with little traffic.Overall highly recommend for a couple or small family.Also the central air was lovely.Will be a definite choice for us if we are considering that area of Florida again.Thanks

Great Home and location-

Overall our stay was great, home was nice and pool was fantastic with great a covered porch & screen enclosure. House was nicely furnished and comfortable. Host/owner very responsive to our questions. Will keep on our list for future stays in the area. Highly recommend Manasota Key beach about 20 minute drive and fantastic shark tooth hunting.

My husband and I purchased this home from my Father. We enjoy spending vacations away from the noise of the big tourist areas. I work as on Occupational Therapy Assistant at a Skilled nursing facility in Ohio. My husband is a store manager for Kroger. We are quickly becoming empty nesters as our youngest is a senior in high school. We enjoy spending time with our children. We have 4 dogs, 7 cats, 2 snakes, 2 lizards, 2 turtles, chickens, ducks, and goats.
We hope that you enjoy staying at our home as much as we do.

The house is in a quiet neighborhood with a privacy fence around the back yard. The pool is surrounded by a cage to keep out the bugs. However a small lizard or frog will break in. The pool is heated year round to 87 degrees. Within minutes of restaurants and shopping.
Beaches are within a short driving distance with many options to choose from.
