The house was everything we expected and more! The rooms are spacious and nicely decorated. The bathrooms are clean, great towels and all the amenities. The kitchen had everything you could possibly need! And it was so nice to have an extra fridge in the laundry room.Everyone agreed it was one of the best vacation rentals we've had!

Perfect for large groups because there are so many bedrooms and baths. There were also a ton of amenities, including shampoo and soap in the bathrooms; coffee and creamer in the kitchen; and trash bags, laundry soap and lots of other items throughout the house. Everything was clearly labeled and the instructions very clear. The pool was warm and clean. I only wish there was recycling available. The only negative was the gunfire we could hear at odd times. It was a little unsettling for us city dwellers, but it is Texas.

The house is beautiful and well equipped just like the photos. Our group of couples were very comfortable during our stay. We hosted a beautiful dinner outside one night and the hosts were so helpful.

This property is beautiful and perfect for a family reunion. The kitchen is well stocked and there is a large square table on the kitchen that is perfect to gather for meals or games. One bench was missing so we moved a few chairs in. There are plenty of bedrooms giving people some needed privacy at night. The pool is large and the hot tub is perfect for small children to play in. I do wish there were a few more lounges/chairs and a few more umbrellas at the far end of the pool. You can swing the two they had over the pool and a few more would be really nice! This is our 2nd stay and I’m pretty sure we plan to come back next summer!

Amazing

Family time. This home is amazing & was everything plus more as shown. Light switches are all labeled so you don’t have to try & figure out what turns on what. Rooms seem bigger than pictures. Very spacious. Kitchen is a cooks dream. Coffee bar with espresso machine, carafe & kurig coffee maker. Some Coffee, tea, creamer furnished. Bathrooms have shampoo, conditioner and body wash dispensers.So many amenities & so clean. Pool clean. Amazing place.

Small Wedding Weekend

We stayed at the property for our small wedding. We had 14 people total in our party. We had the ceremony outside under the trees on Friday evening and spent the rest of the weekend hanging out in the pool, by the fire pit and on the back deck. The property is absolutely amazing and everyone there talked about how beautiful everything was. The sneak peek photos we have seen from our photographer are absolutely gorgeous. The whole house is incredibly well stocked and was spotless when we arrived. The property manager Jeanette, was incredibly helpful with answering questions before and during our stay. We felt like she genuinely wanted to make sure our stay was perfect. If you are on the fence about renting this property, just do it! You won't regret it!

Wedding Weekend

We were in town for my son's wedding, and this was the perfect house to host our friends and family. The house and grounds are absolutely beautiful. There was enough room for everyone, and it never felt crowded at all. The outside space had abundant seating and that was where we would gather in the evenings. The kitchen had everything we needed, and with two refrigerators, we had plenty of room for food and drinks. The check-in and check-out procedures were so easy. If you are looking to host a large gathering of people, I would highly recommend this VRBO. It is truly one of the nicest houses in which I have stayed. It was very clean and comfortable.

The property was beautiful and Jeanette (PM) was awesome! She immediately helped resolve a small issue that came up and was extremely helpful providing medical equipment for my elderly (88) mother. Our party was grateful for the personal note she left for us upon arrival and the service!

Perfect

This property is amazing. Plenty of room. Lots of fun. All the amenities were awesome from the furniture to the bathrooms. The pool and patio area were great. Our family and friends were in town for a wedding in nearby driftwood. The house was so great people didn’t want to leave.The check in and out were easy. The property manager, Jeanette, was easy to work with. I can’t say enough good things about our experience. We will return!!

Wonderful Property!

Our group of 23 (longtime family & friends) had a wonderful stay in Dripping Springs. There was plenty of room for everyone, and the home was beautiful, with well-stocked kitchen. The only suggestions we would have would be to supply more TP and trash bags for a group our size … we ran out of both. But Porsha was super responsive and friendly, and we did have a wonderful time. Thank you!

Perfect house for our family reunion

My family and my sister’s family have been getting together for 30 years. We started at the Hyatt Hill country, then the JW Marriott Hill Country and just this year decided to rent a house. We spent so much more time together having a nice pool for just us, large firepit, beautiful back patio and a large kitchen table. After a vote we have decided to continue renting this house. This house is beautiful and the owners and manager are so friendly and helpful. They were attentive to any issues that came up, which were very minor. The house is truly a gem and allowed everyone to gather together and then to retreat to private spaces.

Great place for Family Gathering

We have been having a family vacation every year for 20+ years. As our family has grown our house needs have grown. We are all coming from different part of Texas and this was a great central location for most. This property was a great size for our family of 19, of which two are a 2 year and 7 month old. This kitchen was well stocked, and we actually never ran out of silverware. It had more small appliances, including a crock pot, blender, convection oven, dual ovens. With the guest house there were 3 full size refrigerators, so there was plenty of room for all our food, and were able to make the one in the laundry room our drink refrigerator. The pool was perfect. Only one of the 2 tvs at the pool was working, but we were able to easily watch our sports teams while enjoying the pool.

2023 Family Reunion

We gathered for our family reunion from near and far! The house and property were so welcoming! There was ample space for everyone to relax and renew. Beautiful space

Our family certainly enjoyed our time at whispering Oaks estate. The space was beautiful and spacious and everything was clean and welcoming. I definitely recommend this space for any family gatherings or just a time to spend in serenity.

Perfect Stay for the Perfect Wedding Weekend

My husband and I stayed here with our wedding party members during our wedding weekend in Driftwood. This property was perfect not only to accommodate our group of 20, but also to hold our welcome reception event for our guests the night before our wedding. When we arrived, Josh was super friendly and gave us a really thorough orientation of the property and all the features around. The house and casita were clean and spacious with a lot of rooms to easily hold a lot of us and hang out, so we were never really on top of each other despite our big group size. It was also nice how secluded the property was and expansive the backyard was. Unfortunately, we didn’t get to use the pool or hot tub, but the whole backyard setup was very cool and beautifully setup. The event space that was right next to the casita was a nice size and had the perfect bar area setup for us to have a great time on Wednesday night with the additional people we invited over for the welcome event. It was also nice that the garage doors could open to bring some cool air since there was a lot of people in one large room. Overall, we were very happy with this rental for the 3 nights we stayed there. Definitely a great spot for large groups to hangout and enjoy the charm of the hill country landscape.

The house was very clean, management was extremely friendly and helpful, and the property fit all of our groups wants! Would definitely stay again.

Ourselves (Della and John) own a house in Spain and are usually there enjoying our retirement. Before we moved here we lived in Dripping Springs, TX where we worked as owners of a property management company consisting of mostly long term rentals. In 2017 we shifted our focus to Short Term Rentals(STRs) and sold the majority of our investment houses and turned the remaining home(s) into STRs.

Great for a family reunion, company retreat, wedding or quiet weekend with that special someone. Far enough away but close to everything!

Austin
We are 25 minutes to Downtown Austin and 45 minutes the Circuit of the Americas.
35 to the main Airport (ABIA) AUS.

Dripping Springs has numerous wineries, wine bars, beer joints, breweries, restaurants and distilleries.

Driftwood is home to the original world famous Salt Lick BBQ and its only 5 minutes away and if you're looking for something unexpected the Trattoria Lisina has the most amazing Italian food you could ever hope for.

Wimberly is only 10 minutes away - great antique shops, eateries, wedding venues, wineries, and swimming hole.

Fredericksburg is only 40 minutes away - world renown shops, German food, petting zoos, wineries, breweries and tons of old town fun.

We are close to numerous wedding venues which makes us a great choice to have your big wedding and have your family stay in one location (in our home) instead of a bunch of hotel rooms spread across the city.
