We were disappointed to receive this review of the property because the guests failed to mention any of these issues to us while they were in residence. We have a pest control service that treats the interior and exterior of the home on a monthly basis. Additionally, we're in the neighborhood on a daily basis and are more than happy to spot treat or place traps if we're made aware of a problem. As this is not a recurring problem, we suspect the recent clearing of the adjacent lots for new home construction may have been a factor. The bicycles are stored on property belonging to this home, so we are not sure why construction on the adjacent property would prohibit access to the bikes. That being said, since there is constrcution, the complimentary house bikes were moved over to the other side of the residence. We did go through the pots and pans in the kitchen, removed some old ones and added some new ones.

We are elated to read that Kristi and her family had an absolutely fantastic spring break in "The Remedy!" They were a delight to host and we would welcome them back any time!

We are disappointed to hear they were not able to get the grill working because nobody ever reached out during your stay. The grill does work. It uses natural gas, and there is a timer you have to turn on in the cabinet under the grill. This is documented in the arrival information we send to all guests, but sometimes folks do overlook it. Otherwise, we're glad you had a wonderful visit and would love to welcome you back!

The third floor outdoor living space is a great place to share a meal with family and take in the beauty of the Emerald Coast - especially at night where you can marvel at the beautiful sunsets! As we live in the neighborhood, we are well positioned to be able to ensure concerns are addressed promptly and our guests can focus on having the absolute best vacation possible! The entire 30A Sea Story team works diligently to ensure each and every guest has an absolutely wonderful time while in residence. Jess and her family were wonderful guests and we would love the opportunity to host them should good fortune bring them back to our little slice of paradise.

We are glad to know Casie and her family had a pleasant stay while in residence. While a few minor repairs needed to be addressed, they were handled relatively quickly after being brought to our attention. When we confirm a reservation in one of the homes we have the privilege to care for, we send a message providing a great deal of information about the home, and we gently remind them that staying in a vacation home is different from staying in a hotel. Our goal is to ensure travelers can arrive comfortably without rushing out to pick up the essentials. Each bathroom is outfitted with travel-size bottles of shampoo, conditioner, body wash, a small bar of soap, and a wrapped roll of toilet paper. When we set up bath linens, each bathroom has a minimum of four bath towels, four washcloths, two hand towels, and a bath mat. For jack and jill or bunk room bathrooms, we ensure there is at least one bath towel and wash cloth per person, and we place a double set of amenities. Two towels are placed on the bathroom towel bar, and the remainder is placed underneath the sink. The home is located at the front of the neighborhood of Seacrest Beach. The back of the residence faces Scenic highway 30A. However, there is a twenty-foot landscape and vegetation buffer between the road and the back of the residence. At the front of the home are three parking spaces, Trigger Trail, more parking spaces, and then single-family homes. The Village of South Walton Beach condo complex is nearby – but four lots to the east.

We are glad Jarrod and his family enjoyed their New Year's vacation at "The Remedy." The community's deeded beach access point is a short walk or a quick complimentary tram ride away. The home is incredibly close to all the shopping and dining options available in Rosemary Beach, Peddler's Pavillion and Alys Beach. Our team works diligently to ensure the home is thoroughly cleaned and prepared for guests. The comfort and well-being of our guests is of paramount importance to us and as such, we strictly adhere to the best practice guidelines and recommendations advocated by VRBO and and the Vacation Rental Management Alliance. Each bed in the home is outfitted with a down alternative comforter, a decorative cover and a throw blanket. While we navigate the impact of this global pandemic, we have followed industry best practice and removed a lot of the extra bedding we would normally keep in the bedroom closets. As much as we wish it were otherwise, the seven day average of new cases in the State of Florida has risen from 1,616 on the first of December to 46,532 on the day Jarrod and his family checked in. Fortunately, Walton County is faring better than many other parts of Florida with the seven day average new cases going from zero on the first of December to 36 on the day Jarrod and his family checked in. In light of these facts, we believe it is important that we continue to closely adhere to our enhanced cleaning guidelines and industry best practice. We certainly wish COVID-19 was a "bygone concern," but the reality is that it is something will believe we will have to confront at least in the near term. We do regret the fact that the television on the third floor outdoor porch did fail. Unfortunately, being as close to the Gulf of Mexico as the home is, the salt air is absolutely brutal on outdoor appliances. We are working to get a new television installed as quickly as possible. As far as the check-in time goes, the overwhelming majority of the properties in our market feature a 10:00 AM check-out and a 4:00 PM check-in. While we do not rigidly adhere to a 4:00 PM check-in time, our team spends much of this time between guests going through the home with a fine tooth comb to ensure everything is thoroughly cleaned. We believe this is immensely important especially in light of everything going on in the world. We have made the homeowners aware of the guest's concern over the window coverings and will work towards implementing a solution that provides as much light-blocking options as is possible.
