The house was great! Location was fantastic. Really enjoyed our stay. My only complaint would be the parking situation. We were told by VRBO (after intentionally inquiring) that the house had two parking spaces in front and two in the back that were available for us to use. But when we arrived and checked in the property actually only has 3 spots that are designated for that house so we had to pay a fee for the 4th space.

The house was perfect for a 2-family vacation. Easy access to the beach and super close to the pool. Great places to eat and explore just a bike ride away. We barely used our cars. The house was perfectly equipped and v spacious. Highly recommend!

Great house, great location!

The house & location are great! We had a party of 6 and we all had plenty of space to spread out and be comfortable. House was clean and updated, as seen in pictures. A couple of things we noticed about house was bathroom sink on top floor & master bath sink didn’t drain well. The hall bathroom ceiling on 2nd floor had some mold on it. That would be our only complaint. Other than that we would absolutely stay here again.

Great house with tons of room

Exactly as pictured. Close walk to the beach. We had so much fun riding bikes around the neighborhood. Check out the market on sunday mornings at seacrest and rosemary.

Good Location but Not Good Condition

We tried to share private feedback and gauge a response from this owner, to no avail. The house was not very clean from the moment we arrived. The house lacked basic kitchen supplies. We tried to ask a few simple questions about checkout without replies. We loved the area but would not choose this property based on the above.

Great place bad owner guard experience across the street

Had a great experience here. However, one of our kids left some shoes at the shower by the beach. We tried to swing by em rout to dinner and the guard actually made our daughter get back into the car, made us drive back across the street only to let her walk by herself to the showers to grab her shoes. Ridiculous experience abs someone needs to get these security guards under control. Guy was a real jerk. Sad too since the place itself was awesome, and the total experience was tainted by the security guards in the owners’ side of the steer. Thought they were supposed to help people feel safe.

Great functional home with a great location.

It’s obvious that this house is a rental. There was sand in two beds. It needs a good inspection of poor functioning equipment: the oven top is not working correctly. I burned pancakes with the temperature set on low. It seemed high was low and low was high. The ice maker in the freezer made very little ice. Had to resort to ice trays and the purchase of bags of ice. The shower pressure in all bathrooms was very weak. The lock on the back door by dining area was not working properly. As far as aesthetics, there is a huge crack in the tile by the front door—not a good first impression! However, the pros were a great location and amenities were plentiful: a very efficient tram service, very close to retails shops, restaurants and fun activities.

DO NOT trust the pictures...

This place was nothing like the online listing portrays. There were exposed wires in almost every room. The bunk bed upstairs was so wobbly is was not safe or any children to sleep on, in addition the lights in that room didn't work and the window shades fell down on top of the bunk bed. Imagine if a child had been sleeping there. The third floor doors leading to the patio were cracked from top to bottom and instead of replacing them, the owners simply taped up Home Depot moving boxes. Many of the electrical outlets were completely loose, not screwed into the wall or didn't work at all. There were huge dents and bashes in the walls. Just basic disrepair of every room in the house. The oven completely quit working several times, including Thanksgiving day. There was no communication the first time it stopped working and the second time, on Thanksgiving, it took hours to get a response and additional hours before we could even schedule someone to come out and fix the oven...at that point dinner had passed and the kids were almost in bed. I had inquired before our stay and was told the kitchen was "stocked". There was maybe one pot, one pan and a few utensils. Nothing to be able to cook any kind of meal for a family. As many reviews have said before, the location is great. We have stayed in this neighborhood many times before. But the lack of just basic amenities and complete lack of consideration for guests spending lots of money to stay for family vacation. I can not in good conscious recommend this property or any property that may be managed by this company. Unfortunate that I tried reaching out to the management company several times during our trip and again before posting any negative comments about them. They never responded.

Sarah, we enjoyed having you and your family stay at our home over the holiday. We are sorry to hear that your experience was not the best for you nor what we had hoped for either. This house was completely remodeled, repainted inside and outside and set up with all new furniture in March of 2021 just 9 months prior to your stay so we didn’t expect you to be this disappointed. However guest feedback always helps us provide a great guest experience and address the maintenance issues in the home along with our routine inspections. Below are a few of the issues we addressed in the off-season that has our place ready for 2022. The exposed speaker wires you mentioned were capped off and no longer showing from the corner of the ceiling The bunk bed was replaced with permanent built-in bunks as you can see in the PICS The 3rd floor balcony doors had been replaced by a contractor just a month prior to your visit and while installing the shutters he cracked the glass on one door. It took about 3 months to get the replacement glass for the door that was affected. Sorry we had to cover the broken glass on one door with cardboard while you were there for your visit but we had no choice at this point and had to make sure it was safe. The oven is new and less than a year old. Maintenance contractors had reset the oven 2-3 times due to the electronics freezing up prior to your visit. Ultimately the manufacturer sent a factory rep out to replace a faulty processor board that has resolved the issue. Not sure about your comment about not many pots and pans and no utensils to cook with but we did take a visual inventory a week after your visit and all was in place and no other guest has mentioned to us that this was inadequate. We certainly did our best to take care of it for you. However, in your review you mentioned the conversations we had and our maintenance tech coming to fix the oven. But, you finished by stating you heard nothing from us and that is simply not accurate. Our goal will always be to provide a great guest experience for every guest without them having to deal with any issues. We always encourage our guest to call us when an issue arises so we can address them for you while you are here.

Beautiful

This is a great location smack dab in the middle of Rosemary Beach and Alys Beach. It’s a 10 min walk to either. It’s decorated beautifully, very clean, and the room/bathroom configurations were great for couples traveling together. You love this house!

Dirty and needs repair

Property was very dirty! House was in a great location but needs repairs. Hole in ceiling of downstairs bath. Master closet was dirty. Pillows on outdoor furniture needs replacing.

Great Location

Seacrest Getaway is a wonderful property in a great location. Plenty of room for 6 adults. Porches galore. On the down side the entire unit needs to be deep cleaned. Dusty ceiling fans. Baseboards also were not clean. Master shower head needs to be replaced. Overall we all decided we would stay again.

Wonderful location

Wonderful location, however the home needs some maintenance done I’m on it. The third floor balcony door fell off the hinges and we were unable to use the balcony. Maintenance was very responsive. They came and looked at it and told us they would be by the following day to replace the door and they never showed up. The 1st 2nd floor bedroom TV wouldn’t work. Maintenance was notified when they came and looked at the door. We were told the owners knew about it and hadn’t gotten a new remote for the TV yet. Apparently it hasn’t worked in sometime. There was a hole cut into the ceiling of the first floor bathroom as well. While the location of the home was great. Pool entrance was across the street and the beach was a short five minute walk. There was plenty of room for all of us. I feel the price we paid was high considering the maintenance issues. The house could use a deep clean, not that it dirty but things needed attention. Several of us went to bed that night to find sand in our sheets as well.
