Loved our stay at Coopernook

Surrounded by beach in one direction and bushland the other, the location is great. The house is special with a homey relaxed atmosphere and has everything you need. The kitchen is very well equipped for cooking and entertaining. Easy access to beautiful Blueys Beach. Look forward to our next stay!

Amazing location

We had a fabulous stay and the view was stunning! Even though the weather wasn't great being by the ocean made up for it. This is truly a special place, we will be back! :)

Relax and Unwind

The perfect location to relax and unwind. Amazing views, great design with everything you could possibly need in the house. Coopernook is perfect for your next beach vacation and walking distance from everything you need for your stay. Lee and family should be very proud of the environment they have created in their holiday home.

Our time at Bluey’s at Coopernook

I normally never review properties but this property is worth making an exception for. A wonderful stay in a quiet neighbourhood and welcoming and well appointed accommodation. The view (what an amazing view) and location was mesmerising and we hope to return again.

Add any superlative you like, I thought the property was perfect. Beautiful home on a stunning beach in a charming seaside village. Far enough away from any crowds but close enough to anything you may need.

Dream wedding weekend location!

Coopernook provided the perfect location for a wedding weekend away from the craziness of event preparation. We loved sharing a meal and a toast in the open plan space with views either side of the property. The easy stroll to the beach, multiple spacious bathrooms and chilled champagne glasses were an appreciated touch on my wedding morning. We will recommend the place to anyone planning on visiting our favourite holiday location. Thank you for being so responsive and sharing your special spot with us!

A wonderful surprise.

I'll start with the reaction of my family when we walked through the door! WOW they all said as they slowly walked around. That was the start of a brilliant week, in a home that has been designed to make you feel like you're in your own home and not in a rental property. We have stayed at Coopernook several times .The location of the house is perfect;an early morning plunge into the ocean.and evening drinks to gaze over the ocean as the sun sets. The decor of the house is very coastal and ambient, for us that is most important. The kitchen is well stocked for the enthusiastic cooks.The barbecue is the best A wonderful stay.

We have owned a holiday property in the Pacific Palms area for over 35 years - including undertaking two renovations and one new build. Our latest holiday cottage, "Coopernook' on the absolute beachfront is by far our favourite destination. We love our 'special' house and we hope you will too!

The unspoilt charm of Blueys Beach and the absolute ocean front location of our cottage is a dream come true.
'Coopernook' was one of the first beach 'shacks' built on Blueys Beach in the late 50's. It was owned continuously by the same family until we purchased the cottage around 9 years ago. The previous owners had enjoyed many happy times in the cottage but by the time we purchased the property it was in a very sad state of disrepair.
Our aim in the refurbishment of the cottage was to create a simple, relaxed and unpretentious setting for our family within the footprint of the original structure. We wanted easy care living with a great connection to the outdoors.
Over the last 9 years we have slowly upgraded and enhanced the cottage, adding a deck on the ocean side and a large covered entertaining deck on the garden side. A new garage provides additional privacy and screening from the street. And recently a new self-contained apartment has been added over the garage. Both the cottage and the apartment look into the private courtyard and lawn.
We make 'Coopernook' available for a short time each year so our guests can also enjoy what the area has to offer.
The cottage is perfect for 2 couples with queen size beds and 2 full bathrooms. The apartment has a queen size bed in separate bedroom and full bathroom.

The views are simply sensational - watch the wales go past and the dolphins dance along the waves. Soak in the sea air, take a walk along the long white sandy beach, a swim in the clean, clear ocean or simply relax on the beach deck and watch the day go by. When the sun sets and sky turns inky take a glass of wine and marvel at the stars over the ocean. Come together and dine on the covered entertaining deck – 'Coopernook' its simply a magic place.
