Margaret was amazing. We really enjoyed our stay! The cabin is so well stocked and convenient to gatlinburg. The hot tub was great. The views were lovely, but not too high up the mountain that you have a horrible drive. All in all great experience. The one negative were the stinkbugs, but I’m very afraid of bugs. Once we uncovered the outdoor stuff and vacuumed them up they weren’t too much of a nuisance.

Exceeded all expectations!! Incredibly beautiful, clean and homey. Mountain View’s from the hot tub, great outdoor sitting areas and wonderful cabin. Close enough to everything in town but far enough away to be peaceful.

Wonderful cabin

Check-in was very easy. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to cook family meals. The wrap-around porch was perfect to see the views.

Perfect Mountain Getaway – Thoughtful Touches and Total Comfort!

My family and I had the absolute pleasure of staying at this beautiful mountain home for five unforgettable nights. From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. The cabin is immaculately clean, beautifully decorated, and equipped with everything a family could possibly need for a relaxing and comfortable stay.One of the highlights of our trip was the incredibly thoughtful surprise snack basket waiting for us, complete with all the fixings for S'mores! It was such a special touch that made our first night feel extra magical as we gathered around the outdoor fireplace under the stars.The surrounding area is peaceful and private, with gorgeous views and a sense of true mountain serenity. Despite the warnings from the hosts, we didn’t spot any black bears on the property during our stay—just a lot of fresh air and beautiful scenery! We did manage to see seven black bears during our visit though, one of which decided to follow behind us on the Rainbow Falls trail.The hosts have clearly gone above and beyond to make this a warm, welcoming, and well-stocked retreat. We couldn't have asked for a better place to unwind, reconnect, and make lasting memories as a family. We would return in a heartbeat and highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a perfect mountain escape.

Amazing House

This house/cabin was up in the GSM hills outside of Gatlinburg, TN. It was a great space. Each of my family members had individual rooms and the house had three floors so we did not feel we were stepping on each other. The house was clean and fully stocked. The hot tub was clean and enjoyable. And the owner cared and reached out when we had any questions. It was no problem getting to the cabin (in the winter you would need chains on your tires). We saw bears and the cabin had beautiful views of the mountains. Just an amazing cabin.

The cabin was fantastic and very well put together. I have one suggestion. Maybe measure between the hot tub and the north railing of the porch and build a long table to fit there for drinks.

Amazing Getaway Cabin

The cabin was beautiful. It was very clean and cozy. It had everything you would ever need and there was plenty of entertainment for everyone. It’s in a great location with close proximity to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. I can’t say enough about Margaret, the owner. She was amazing. She’s very personable and helpful. She communicated with us the entire time we were there and was quick to respond to any questions that we had. It was a great experience and we will definitely be staying again.

Perfect for Families with Kids!

This cabin is an absolute DREAM if you are traveling with young kids. The owner is incredibly considerate towards the needs of families with little ones. For example, she made sure to check in with me before the stay and ask what kinds of activities my kids like to do (crafts, toys, coloring, etc), and had a treasure chest full of fun things for them to play with! The cabin itself is immaculately clean, beds are super comfortable, and there was a great supply of fresh clean towels. We very much appreciated the cabinets in the bathroom which were stocked with often forgotten odds and ends (toothpaste, make up remover cloths, spare tooth brushes, mini soaps, etc.) The kitchen had kid friendly utensils and very durable cookware. We absolutely loved the hot tub and making s'mores in the outdoor fireplace. I would stay here again in a heart beat! Thank you for a perfect vacation!

We are from the foothills of Tennessee where our families still live. We met in college at the University of Tennessee. We currently live in North Carolina and have 2 children, and Lucy and Maggie- the Newfies. Allen and the kids love to shoot archery which has taken us all over the world. We have been able to stay in many vacation rentals and have taken some of their ideas for our own.

This cabin was completely rebuilt after the wildfire of 2016. Enjoy gathering with friends and family in a quiet cabin in and out of the way location that is 5 minutes from Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. We welcome families with children and we try to provide a memorable experience for everyone in the family.
