Mixed Blessings

House was basically clean & comfortable, although windows & carpet could do with a periodic clean. Thought it a bit rude to charged extra for the pet when it was limited to a small partially enclosed patio. The yard fully fenced but contained a lot of a vine/creeper with a very sticky seed which stuck to all parts of the pet & took ages to remove from her daily. I partially covered 1 of the gardens with our travel blanket which I will have to throw out due to the state it is now in. The lawn was recently mowed, as the mowed grass was not collected it was near impossible not to tread some into the house. Would I stay there again? Yes but certainly not as "Pet Friendly" as location was great in respect to shops and the beach.

Old and dated

an old property in need of a good make over. Every room needed attention of some sort - it was very much like living in a shack from the 1970's. Better accommodation available at a few dollars extra.

Make over is planned for near future. Sadly, being "Pet Friendly", many renters have allowed unruly pets inside and damage has been sustained. The little cottage will be dressed up and hopefully will remain undamaged for some time. Comments are noted. Thank you.

great location just out dated

The property was in a great location. But the furnishings were tired and out dated. No Wifi, it was like a trip back in time.

Great location and perfect for our four legged friend.

This property was perfect for our dog as is fully fenced and plenty of lawn & shade. Location is great for the price, only a short stroll to the waterfront. The house and decor is very dated (still has a VCR player and videos!!!) and basic essentials not supplied (eg pegs, dishwashing liquid, tea towels) which is not ideal when travelling and/or on a budget. Overall we were very happy with our stay and would love to stay again - would just plan things a bit better next time :)
