This was a great location for staying in Palm Springs. We liked the building as well. It was a quiet, friendly, and the heated pool and hottub were nearby. It's about 7 minutes from downtown PS. The hosts were were informative and friendly too.

Great Condo

Excellent location within walking distance to downtown PalmSprings and grocery stores, Spacious condo with a well equipped kitchen. Heated swimming pool was a bo us. Would recommend staying at this condo.

Absolutely Fantastic Stay

This property was fantastic. The property owners were so incredibly kind and thoughtful. The condo was spotless. The neighbors are outstanding. The location was also perfect. Cannot speak highlu enough of my experience.

Winter getaway

Unit was clean, good sizes and well equipped. We enjoyed our time on the patio. Building is a bit older and noise carries. We had a good time, thank you.

Comfortable and spacious

A really nice and well-appointed unit with lots of living space. I enjoyed the jacuzzi and small gym (treadmill, stationary bike, elliptical and a few free weights.) Lots of linens. There was a little noise from the unit above (creaking when people walked around) but overall the well-kept complex was quiet and neighbors friendly.

Very comfortable and conveniently located to everything. The unit was equipped with everything you could possibly need. The heated pool is only a few feet from the unit and that's where I spent most of my afternoons. As I said previously, great restaurants are only 5 minutes away and the coffee shops are almost on every corner. If all goes well next year, I would love to return and enjoy another month at Catalina Cove.

Very Nice

I enjoyed the condo and especially the close location to downtown. The bus was right in front of the building and walking to downtown was about 30 minutes. The condo was well equipped and the owner replied very quickly to any questions I had. This was my first time in Palm Springs and enjoyed every moment. I will be coming back as soon as I can. The sunshine is truly amazing. I enjoyed my stay at the condo. The people were very friendly.

Sunrise Siestas

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and found the condo be a little like living in a neighborhood filled with families and working folk. We like that aspect of the diversity and were entertained by the a few children playing in the pool once it warmed up a bit. Jennifer was the most responsive host , and as an example, she immediately addressed issues with the internet without delay. She also arranged for cleaning during our two month stay which was a very pleasant surprise. Her crew were very thorough and efficient. Overall, a very wonderful experience.

Great Location!

Right in the middle of Palm Springs but still residential. Condo was clean and stocked with everything needed. Huge walk-in closets and updated master bath. Area for pets right outside the condo on grassy area. I would definitely stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay at the condo in American Gardens. The 2 bedroom unit is large with a well supplied kitchen. When we arrived there was a very nice welcome gift. Jennifer and Michael dealt quickly with the few small issues we had.

Great location and ok space, but not worth the hassles

I've used VRBO for over 15 years, and this my first negative review. We stayed a week around Christmas. On Christmas eve, day 2, the kitchen sink clogged. We'd filled the fridge with food and were now unable to use the kitchen. It took the owner 2 days to get a plumber. Meanwhile, the upstairs neighbor's washing machine overflowed the sink. I quickly mopped the floor and emptied the sink with bowls to avoid floor damage, and negotiated with the neighbor to hold of on housework. He said this had happened before. The owner expected us to coordinate the service call, meaning a day of vacation lost. The plumber showed up 2 hours after the scheduled 3 hour window. We left the apartment 100% clean, in order, and exactly as we found it. The owner never apologized or offered compensation for our lost time or not having a working kitchen. To top it all off, they filed a $4600 claim against our travel insurance policy (required to book), which I had to dispute (more lost time). They claimed the kitchen floor and dining room chairs (not in kitchen) needed to be replaced. Granted, the chairs (and rest of furniture) aren't great quality and floor is worn, but all of that was the same upon our departure as on arrival. Overall, our experience was unsavory. If you want a hassle-free vacation, I would avoid this place.

This was the worse experience we had with someone renting our condo since we started with VRBO. I don’t know how many people really stayed at the condo. This was the first time that the housekeeper complained that the condo was so dirty and it took 2 days to clean it. They broke several items, stained chairs, hole in upholstery, etc. We took photos of the damages they caused after their departure. They claimed that they were not responsible and were out pocket for the damages. They clogged the kitchen sink on 12/24, we got a call close to 10 pm that night, we addressed the problem right away, but because of Christmas, the first available time that we could get a plumber on short notice and extra cost was 12/26. The plumber gave a 3 hours window and a call 15 mins before his arrival. Rent to this person at your risk.
