Great location, we were able to walk to great food restaurants, and shops. Home was super clean, bed slept like home, and family area was great to chill after being in the hot sun all day. Area was quiet and no outside distractions at all!

The place is roomier, brighter and just generally nicer than depicted in the photos. John had necessities such as coffee, sugar, salt and pepper, etc for our use. Everything was very clean and the linens, towels, etc were nice. Very comfortable beds. John is doing some major work around the exterior, so if a big requirement for you is a place to luxuriate outside, this is not the place for you. We were on the go visiting beautiful wineries, hiking spots, etc, so when we arrived back we were happy to relax in the very comfortable space John has created there.

I would recommend comfortable sitting area in den. Not enough seating and the odor of cat urine was evident on sofa and chair. While I appreciate a pet friendly place, our 14 lb. dog travels with us, he doesn’t urinate inside. Host was very nice, responded immediately to an issue. House is convenient to downtown.

We had a wonderful stay! The house was the perfect size for our family and had everything we needed for a comfortable overnight visit. The two spacious bathrooms were a huge bonus and made getting everyone ready so much easier. We especially appreciated that the home is dog-friendly, which made traveling with our pups so much easier and allowed our whole family to enjoy the trip together. The home is nestled in a charming, friendly little town that we absolutely loved exploring. It was peaceful, welcoming, and the perfect place to relax after a day of traveling. We all slept comfortably and truly enjoyed our stay. We would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking for a cozy, comfortable, and pet-friendly place to stay in the area!

A nice, rustic and cozy cabin just a few blocks from downtown Tryon. Very comfortable bed. Well equipped and clean; loved the old bear claw tubs in the 2 full baths. The owners were very gracious to allow us to check in early since we had some commitments in Tryon that afternoon.
