This place is absolutely the best VRBO we have rented, very clean and everything you need for your stay. Definitely be staying here again. It’s not in town so very quiet except the sounds of Fritz creek which tops off the stay. The owners responded very quickly with text messages.

Peaceful and dog friendly

Beautiful view and comfortable accommodations. We stayed three nights while fishing for halibut.

Wonderful stay in Homer

Great accommodations just as described. The bonus was the moose outside the cabin each day. Just 15 minutes from town. Loved the views of the mountains.

Great stay just outside Homer

The rental was just as described in the listing. Comfortable and only 15 minutes by car from the Spit. The local moose visited most days and the views of the mountain tops was a bonus. Beds were very comfortable and heater worked well in chilly April. Thanks for the games in the kitchen cubbard, we had fun playing them a night.

Quiet location

Clean property in a quiet location that is a bit off the beaten path. Can't speak highly of the furniture that seems to have been selected for the look and not the comfort of their guests. Beds were comfortable enough.

Awesome!

Easily one of the best equipped properties we have stayed at. Plenty of linens, bathroom supplies, dishes, fresh coffee...etc. Fantastic location. We had 3 of the properties over a long weekend and never ran out of anything. We will schedule our next trip around these properties availability. Thanks!

Homer for Family of 5

Neat location outside the town of Homer gave us plenty of time to see wildlife driving to and from the property into Homer and around the local area.Not too far away, but just enough to feel a little remote.Set up of the house was good with the two bedrooms and sleeping area in the living room for our teen.Appreciate the eye masks for the "midnight sun" and the laundry facility was perfect to refresh before we continued our 10-day Alaska adventure.

Pretty sweet

It was a nice stay except the downstairs neighbors were drunk and loud at all hours. To the point I didn't feel safe there as a woman.

The rental was great - bright, open and cheery, overlooking a creek with mountains in the distance. The amenities were also nice. Only 15 minutes to the best beach-combing and tide pooling, not to mention the Spit, harbor, wonderful shops and restaurants. There was little water pressure, but it was enough. Unfortunately, they switched us at the last minute to another top floor rental (not the one furnished and situated as pictured when we booked) - AFTER we had unpacked everything into the kitchen and rooms, and assembled two children’s cots. Evolve, the management team, seemed to think they could make it look like we went to the wrong place despite the fact that we went to the house number they gave us - with the furnishings in our contracted listing. The second unit had different and less appealing furnishings. PS- the microwave works but it doesn’t rotate.

We enjoyed our time at Eagle’s Crest. It was new and clean and well appointed. Would have appreciated an information binder with directions about TV remotes, location of outdoor trash receptacles and local activities, dining options, etc. The location was remote but not too far out of town. We enjoyed the stream and wildlife. We wish we could have seen the yard while sitting on the deck. Douglas was easy to communicate with, upbeat and patient.

Beautiful place

It was a beautiful place! The only thing I would recommend is bring sleeping masks as there are no black out shades. It was quite bright till 10:30 pm during our stay. Other wise it was a perfect venue to be close to Homer. Clean, easy to access and even though there were several different groups that stayed on the bottom floor there were no noise issues. Very pleasant experience

Quiet, relaxing, good location.

Happifying. could use some instructions for the dvd player ect. and some books and games. Couldn't get on the internet. That was probably a plus for us. Overall a great stay. Moose sitings were a plus.

Fritz creek retreat was a treat!

The property was everything we expected and more! It really is steps away from beautiful Fritz Creek. We were very comfortable with the sleeping arrangements and the layout of the apartment is superb with a beautiful view! We enjoyed every aspect and hope to stay there again sometime. A relaxing porch and lots of wildlife! We fell in love with Homer! A special find!

Nice place with a lack of sound control

Other than a single complaint, we enjoyed our stay. It is a nice space and it was clean when we arrived. There is obviously no sound isolation/insulation between the upper and lower apartments. We felt like we needed to tiptoe the whole time we were there to avoid disturbing the folks below us and several times we heard loud profane language, etc from beneath us. Not a huge deal, but something worth noting if you are considering this rental. All in all, it was good though.
