Beautiful View and Cozy Rental

The place is beautiful and the view are absolutely breathtaking. The house manager was very responsive and helpful to our needs. She made sure our time at Calichi was memorable.

Beyond amazing!

We fell in love with Calichi at Picture Point the second we walked through the front door. Our 10 day stay last week in the Orchid villa exceeded our expectations. The villa was stunning. It was beautifully furnished and well stocked. The beds and pillows were the best we’ve ever slept on. So good, in fact, that we’ve ordered them from the same company Crate and Barrel. The views from the villa, pool, and hot tub were breathtaking. The sunrises were magical. The management services were exceptional…Mackenzie and Parker were very attentive to our needs. Needless to say, we loved everything about this place and will definitely be back.

Incredible views

Calichi is exactly as described. Gorgeous villas with incredible views. Trade winds kept the temperature cool. We really enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Kitchen was well stocked. The drive down to Coral Bay is steep but easy. The drive to north shore beaches is about the same as from west side of island. Getting to Cruz Bay does take quite a bit longer.

Amazing Property

Our 5th year to St John and best property of them all. Top of the island location is special. Can see all the other islands and water from your deck. So many seating options that we were always so relaxed. Breeze and cooler temps higher on mountain- never turned the air on due to cool air and constant breeze. We stayed in orchid villa and inside is modern comforts meets Caribbean beauty outside the open glass windows. Beds- Kitchen- beach chairs and all the items you need are 1st class. They are building two more villas to complete the complex currently. Workers on site daytime but no real impact to our experience. The grounds and landscape are fantastic and will be amazing as time goes on and the plants grow larger and make it an oasis for sure. Road to house is all concrete so yes it is mountain road and steep and narrow at times, but it is easy to get used to and actually fun to drive. If you stay here, you will not be disappointed. Two thumbs up from someone who travels frequently and knows quality of experience!

Calichi’s 1.67 acres is approximately 1190 feet above the Caribbean Sea, making it the highest residence on St. John. Actually, only the communications tower on Bordeaux Mountain is taller, and it’s only by some 85 feet. ResidencesOur property is made up of 6 villas, an immense central pool & hot tub area all accessed by an upper and lower driveway as well as a stairwell from each villa. We are just under 7 mile drive from Cruz Bay and a 1 mile drive down to Coral Bay.The center of the property is a large common area with more panoramic views, a 65 foot lap infinity pool, custom stainless steel hot tub, covered dining area, outdoor grill, covered lounge area, wet bar, 2 outdoor showers, large putting green, as well as a shared bathroom.Our goal is to provide our customers with a complete, worry and hassle free St. John vacation while constantly taking steps to lessen the environmental impact on the island. Calichi at Picture point is perfect for singles, couples, families, or large groups seeking a genuine St. John adventure with a minimum of hassle in planning your perfect get away. Let our personal concierge work with you in creating a life time of memories.  If you desire an extremely environmentally sensitive development, but are unwilling to compromise on luxury and comfort and a resort class pool area, Calichi at Picture Point is made for you.Power is one of the most inconsistent and expensive necessities in the Virgin Islands. The island experienced over 25 power outages between June and September 2019, but Calichi was able to avoid interruption of power with the addition of the solar panels and Tesla batteries on site. We have over 300 solar panels and 20 Tesla Powerwalls for the storage of solar energy. The collection of one of our most renewable resources -sunlight - allows the guests to rest comfortably knowing they will have climate control, flushable toilets and cold food storage no matter the situation at ...
