We were greeted by a welcoming handwritten note from the property owners. We felt welcomed. We cook a lot and the kitchen was well appointed. The instruction notebook was the most complete ever. We’d enjoy staying here again.

Exactly as advertised. Hosts were amazing and easy to communicate with. This is a must stay for tranquility (the back yard and porch are so quiet and peaceful). All the amenities a home should have and just such a comfortable setting.

The house is well decorated and maintained, all rooms and beds are very comfortable. Kitchen has everything we needed. There were some temporary road construction during our stay but we did not hear any noise inside, and it is very quite at night. Highly recommend it!

We enjoyed everything! The house is very tastefully decorated and well taken care of. Plenty of room for all us to spread out. Some temporary ongoing curb construction on road out front but that did not bother us.

Lovely and spacious home. Very close to NC State, restaurants and shops. The house is thoughtfully stocked. Host was easy accessible and communicated well. Our pup Raven also enjoyed the stay and close walking options.

Wonderful Getaway

Simply lovely mini vacation. Loved the home, the tree filled backyard, the grill, fire pit, the great kitchen and dining room. This was the perfect location for dedicated family time!

this was the third time we’ve stayed @ jeff and ellen’s property.it’s a fabulous place — very clean! and u will not find a better stocked kitchen in any short-term rental. if u’re going to a game or event @ pnc/lenova/carter-finley, u cant beat the location.that said — the place is on a busy street, not really walkable. but we didnt care abt that.we did care that the fireplace wasnt yet available for use on nov 1 (they turn it on in mid-nov) it might be good for the listing to reflect that. they also allowed us to arrive early (for 75), which was nice.it’s worked really well for our group of friends! hope 2 be back next football season!

Relax in Raleigh!

Great home away from home! Close proximity to ourfamily, restaurants, and shopping. Home is nicely furnished with fully stocked kitchen and other amenities. Host is easy to communicate with and check in was a breeze.

My wife and I have managed our own personal rental properties for the past fifteen years and understand the importnance of a well maintained property. We are trying our hand at the short term lodging market.

My wife and I fell in love with this property because of its architectural detail, floor plan, and proximity to city trails. Best of all, our location is just 2 blocks from the Greenway Trail. Our family loves exploring the trail network in Raleigh as well as the walkability of the surrounding neighborhood.

Very private setting with a great back porch, deck and patio. The setting feels like you are tucked in a mature forest. The two story wall of windows in the family room allows a great indoor view of the trees. The backyard is very secluded, quiet, and private.
