Nice location and great space for families

We traveled with a range of ages and this space was excellent for each person. The 3 floors allowed for us to not be on top of each other and the multiple king bedrooms allowed for all the adults to have an en suite room. The stairs could be challenging for those with mobility issues but everyone in our party handled them well.

Excellent spot for our friends weekend

House had a great layout for our girls getaway. Upstairs was spacious with a great table and lounge space for socializing and meals. Check in process was easy - although we requested an early check in (3 hours) and it was expensive so opted not to do it. Adequate fridge and kitchen storage space. Nicely decorated and quality was great for the price.

Sandbridge Vacation

Had a great time with multigenerational family! Plenty of room throughout the house. Upon entry, the house had not been cleaned. However, after a call to the owner, they sent out the cleaner and she resolved within an hour. Great location, not a lot to do off season, but we had plenty of tv’s, games, etc. I would recommend.

VB Vacation

The house worked out perfectly for our family of 17, ages from 2 through 69. Access to beach was close and pool was large enough for all nine grandkids. Everyone had a wonderful time.

Great stay! Our party consisted of 17 personnel, there was plenty of room. One block from the beach and the owners answered each call. Very clean home. You will not be disappointed!

Great Getaway

The House look exactly like it does on the website. Nicely decorated, fully equipped with lots of dishes, pots, pans, coffee machine, electric gadgets to make your getaway successful. The house was clean. Location was close to the beach. I would stay at this house again.

House served its purpose

Great location and close to the beach. Nothing fancy with the house….no extras. Very adequate and clean. Lots of kitchen appliances but no spices or basic cooking staples and terrible coffee selection…not enough toilet paper for a large family and one roll of paper towels…plan to make a trip to the store. The house is well used and it shows but overall the house served its purpose and we had a nice stay.

Great family reunion

The house was a great base for our family reunion. The top deck is so nice for both sun rise and sun set. Beach is right across the street. I loved how many baking items were in the kitchen. (stand mixer, various glass baking dishes) Communicating with Corrine was fast and easy when we had questions.

Wonderful house Great Location

We enjoyed our stay with a family of 11 at Chillaxin for ODU graduation. It's a reasonable distance to the boardwalk. You definitely need a car to get around. The house is fully stocked with kitchen items, games and linens. The bbq, pool and spa were clean and ready to use. The owner was responsive and friendly. I would consider definitely renting again.

Gorgeous

This house is so beautiful; we would eat breakfast on the porch every morning and look at the ocean, it was wonderful. The beds were very comfy, the sheets were nice, it was great to not have to worry about bringing shower towels. There were so many kitchen appliances that we were able to use with no problem. I have no complaints at all and would totally rent it again!

My husband and I recently hosted a post-elopement weekend celebration in Sandbridge, putting friends and family up in three houses in the area. Ours (Chillaxin) was one of the nicest, with everything in the house exactly as described/pictured; everyone who stayed with us commented on how nice the accommodations were. Corrine herself was incredibly communicative, reaching out to me when there'd been a booking mixup, and then checking in with a postcard and information packet in advance of our stay and later a handwritten thank-you note. If you're on the fence, I'd definitely recommend you book this property.

Family Beach Vacation

Every year we make the trip to Sandbridge for our family beach vacation and have stayed at different places however Chillaxin was our favorite. The location of the house to the beach is terrific - the public access pathway is directly across the street from the house and the wrap around decks on both levels allowed for beautiful views of the ocean and beach. Pool and hot tub were a plus. The kitchen is fully stocked with great appliances and pots which made it super convenient for making big family dinners. The owner was very friendly and super responsive to our questions and issues. Could use some minor fixes / upgrades after normal wear and tear of renting out the house throughout the summer but otherwise would highly recommend.

Purchased in June 2015, we are a young family from north of Pittsburgh eager to please! After years of vacationing in the Sandbridge area and watching the housing market, we decided to take a leap of faith and purchase our favorite beach rental. We've invested over $100,000 in upgrades since the purchase date, making it a dream vacation home.

Once we arrive at Chillaxin, we rarely leave. Though there are plenty of restaurants and attractions, we spend our days at the beach across the street, in the pool/hot tub, paddleboarding in the back bay or at the kitchen table playing games or feasting on a fresh seafood meal. We hope that you will find the two parts of Chillaxin we like best, chilling out & relaxing! It's our favorite place to be. Those who call me know how passionate I am about the house. You can call me anytime to get a complete detail on every amenity. Since we bought the house we have been there every few weeks so every detail is fresh in our memories.

Chillaxin is a 3 story home with wrap around decks that provide views of the ocean and the bay. The selling point for us were the three master suites, two of which have jetted Jacuzzi tubs. Not to be out done by the hot tub beside the pool. There are two rooms on the second floor with jack and jill style bathroom as well as one on the top deck. Everyone has there own shared or private decks for morning coffee while looking at the beach. Wet bar on the ground level with full bathroom for quick trips from the pool/hot tub to make your favorite drinks!

We, the owners, are very involved. We are willing to do what it takes to ensure you have the vacation of a lifetime. Our goal is to establish a relationship with each renter that continues year after year. Many of the homes in this area listed on this site are managed by a property management company and the owner is never directly contacted. Know that when you are booking with us, you will receive my direct cell phone and have a personal response from the us (the owners) to make your vacation dreams come true.

The house speaks for itself. The views from the front porch are addicting. There is very little traffic on Sandfiddler Road. The kitchen has everything you could ever need including a seafood boil pot right down to a bottle opener we mounted to the wall so you don't need to get out of the hot tub to open your next beverage. A pack and play is also on sight as well as a high chair and a baby gate for no additional charge.

There are many modern conveniences in the house. This is not your average old-style beach house. It is updated & meticulously clean. We've furnished the house how we furnished our own house with every amenity we think you'd need. If you need it and we don't have it, we'll be sure to get it for you.
