House was a nice size. The view was beautiful.
The GPS did not take us to the house. It took us into the small neighborhood, but, it took us to the left instead of to the right. The road up to the house was so steep that my husband insisted on driving the van up the road. There were plenty of things to do in the area, but because of the road to the house, we only went down the road once a day. My husband's truck ended up getting stuck in the ditch. We had to pull it out with our van. The neighbor says - that happens all the time. All weekend, we were thankful that it had not snowed. Low and behold, the last night it iced and snowed for 12 hours. (even though there was only a 5% chance of precipitation.) Thankfully, it didn't ice long before it turned to snow.
While the floors, bathroom and kitchen were clean - there were issues with the cleanliness of the house. There was no room to put our garbage in the garbage can. We had to put it to the side. The fireplace had left over ashes in it.
The towels were musty smelling. Also, there was rat droppings in an empty drawer in the kitchen. There were no window treatments on any of the rooms upstairs (even the bedrooms). While there was a day when people would say there is nothing this high to see in - there are droids that people use to take pictures. (It's more than a little unnerving.)
While they do have internet, they do not have a lot of bandwidth. We liked to stream movies. If we were streaming movies, no one could be on their phone at all, because it would impact the movie.
