Great family getaway - quiet location

We had a wonderful 5 night stay at this property. The location was excellent for what we wanted - a quiet spot, excellent access for biking around the area, beautiful scenery. We hope to return!

BALLINA lighthouse beach apartment

This is an ideal location! 3 bedrooms and ample seating for the whole family. The property was relatively clean, with ample space. It was a great location too! The property was a tad musty and there was a neighbour next door who was a little nosey and would show up and comment about a lot of what we did but seemed like a nice enough person. All in all, its a good place to book for a stay!

The property had a nice sunny aspect. However the noise from the apartment above was the only detraction which could be addressed by some added acoustic controls .

Overall a Fabulous Stay

Property was in a great position. Close to town but with the bonus of magnificent walks at your doorstep. We started the day with an ocean swim then went for a beautiful nature walk, discovered trails but my favourite was the 'one in a million' promenade walk along the north wall. Then we would have coffee at the picturesque Shelly Beach Cafe. Unit was clean, with all amenities and host was easy, approachable and very accomodating. My daughter said it was up there as one of the best BnB stays we have had, and I agree.

fantastic peaceful stay!

Beachpoint is right across from the beach, with its own pool and BBQ area and a short walk to the fabulous cafe at Shelly Beach. Perfect for lazy days and everyone could please themselves. The unit is large, clean and well appointed with plenty of room for 5 adults and it is great to have 2 modern bathrooms. Kitchen was well equipt and the coffee machine was a nice touch. Shaws bay is a lively swimming spot and the pub a great place to wind down over the water. Thank you for a lovely break

Highly recommend!

Was reluctant to book this property due lack of reviews but so glad we did! This place is fantastic. Very clean, light filled, spacious apartment. Kitchen has everything you could imagine. Location is spot on. Sun filled deck of a morning. Permanent residents are friendly & helpful giving tips for ideal fishing spots. Great base to stay while exploring the surrounding areas. Will definitely book again and stay longer next time!

Ballina escape

Great location, great apartment everything you need you. But did find the permanent resident next door to be very watchful of our movements and speaking to my children unnecessary as asking where my children had been when returning and going into the pool and telling them what to do and making gesture to be quiet by raising finger to mouth (my children did follow pool rules, hosing sand off prior/swimming within hours) and were respectful of those around them.

East Ballina was a lovely spot to stay and our apartment was great. Very clean and modern in a great position - close to water and able to walk to local shops and cafes. We would definitely go back!

Great place if air conditioner works

Arrived after dark in Ballina on the coldest day of the year. When the kids had all moved their bags up into the apartment we struggled for a loooooong time to try to get the air-conditioner to heat the pace up. No luck. Spent most of our stay with beanies on. Also only one roll of toilet paper!!? Apart from this issue the apartment is located next to the beach and we enjoyed great walks and enjoyed watching a movie on the big TV.

Location, Staff and Unit on point

The accommodation is perfectly located in East Ballina. Across the reserve is light house beach and the surf club. The unit is well laid out and clean. Clayton took care of everything and was very professional. I even asked if I could buy the place. Thank you, would highly recommend.
