Blue House Surf Shack - Pet Friendly - Pet Friendly Authentic Beach House

Relaxation and a sense of calm is what Blue House Surf Shack is all about. It has the vibe of summer holidays, when you would just go to the beach, drape your towels over the verandah, read books and relax with your family and friends, including your dog. Just so you know, this is also a pet friendly holiday home.
Cook a BBQ at night on the deck and listen to the sounds of the sub-tropical night. Each of the three bedrooms have fans, and with two of them having built in robes, there is ample storage space. The Shack has a fully equipped kitchen, with all the mod cons. The spacious living area opens onto the verandah, where you can enjoy the sea breeze.
The house is situated in the beautifully elevated Blue Horizon Drive, which is a fun five minute walk to the beach and into town, for dinner and shopping. Behind the house is a large paddock with horses and donkeys, who visit the back fence and love a carrot.
Blue House Surf Shack sleeps six, has Wi-Fi and off-street parking for cars, as well as enough space to park a boat.

We have a beautiful stay in Lennox! Such a nice spot tucked up a few blocks behind the Main Street. Only a short 10-15 minute walk to town. We had the horses and donkeys come up the the fence to visit which our pup was very interested in. Fully fenced and very homey feel. Would highly recommended!!

Great Spot Close to Everything – Highly Recommend!

We had a great stay at the Blue House Surf Shack during the Nationals event in Ballina. The house was conveniently located close to the venue, which made our long days much easier. We really enjoyed the space — it was large, comfortable, and the kitchen was fully stocked with all the essentials we needed. The location was perfect, just a short walk to great cafes for morning coffees and close to the beach for our early starts. Parking was also super convenient. Would definitely stay here again!

This is a good place to stay with a dog as its fenced.We have stayed here before.Its a short walk to the shopsThere are a few things that need and should be fixedsome of the blinds are broken, the childproof gate is broken.The floor in the toilet is unstable. The outside laundry door doesn't close well.The vacuum cleaner head is broken.

So comfortable!

We adored our stay as an adult family of four. Every bed was comfortable with quality linen and towels. The hosts thought of everything we might need! Even an air fryer! The best appointed house we’ve ever had the good fortune to stay in. The paddock views and friendly horses were a delight. Would love to stay again

Lovely family getaway

We had a great time at the Blue House. The location was perfect - lovely and quiet but close enough to amenities and beach and just a short drive to Byron. The horses in the paddock behind the house made for some magical moments with my children. Would love ti come back and stay in the future.

lot of maintenance required

The interior was well set up and comfortable. Maintenance required in the second bedroom. Wardrobe door was very hard to open. The lining of that door is detached from the door and every time the door was opened it became worse. The tracks of the sliding windows are corroded, making it am effort to open or close. The blinds in the second bedroom are also falling apart.Everything you needed was provided, but the surrounding yard was a mess. Taking your life into your hands, getting your luggage in and out of the house. brick driveway is inadequate and the bricks that remain in place are a trip hazard. Almost impossible to get to the bins without tripping. This house is supposed to be pet friendly but nowhere to keep a dog confined as the fence has holes in it and the fence around the veranda has a gap under it that a Saint Bernard could get through. The veranda roof leaks in several places and the guttering needs clearing. We did not have a dog, but the fact remains that this accommodation is advertised as being pet friendly. Would only consider staying there again if these things were all rectified.Overall at the price we paid, not value for money.
