Prince Edward County Sandbanks Provincial Park

A beautiful new build with all amenities and panoramic views.The living space features a cathedral window with a beautiful view out onto West lake ( rain or shine) and a long deck. All the creature comforts are found here featuring a two way gas fireplace, radiant floor heating and A/C in the summertime. It is close to Sandbanks Provincial Park and we include Provincial Park pass with your stay. This unique property is always a beautiful spot to spend time in. When guests arrive they don't want to leave.
Sandbanks Prince Edward County. Please note there is no firepit or outdoor fires.
The house is a new build split level and the owners occupy the lower level on weekends-It is private and very separate from the upper level as seen in the photos. Guests are welcome also to use the backyard space on the lower level. This reservation has a Super Flexible cancellation policy - refunds will be issued up to 14 day prior to the check in date.
A 100% refund is provided for travellers cancelling at least 14 days before check-in. A 50% refund is provided for travellers cancelling from 7 to 13 days before check-in. No refunds are provided for travellers cancelling less than 7 days prior to check-in. CanadaStays Booking Fees are refundable if you cancel within 48 hours of placing your booking request.
Our house rules: primary renter must be 25 or older, no smoking, no parties or events, no pets.
No excessive noise outside on deck after 11:00 PM. Inside is well insulated and great for continuing socializing- A/C and heat when needed.

Nice and cozy place, great location

We had a lovely stay at this house. It’s very well located and has a beautiful, spacious terrace. The place is cozy, warm, and well-equipped. Communication with the owner was easy and smooth, which made the whole experience even more pleasant.Guests should be aware that the property runs on a well. There’s also a tenant living in the downstairs unit with a dog that barked sporadically, which made us uncomfortable as we have a child with special needs that can be loud and disorganized and who became quickly upset by the barking. Lastly, the cleanliness of the kitchen utensils and cookware could have been better but the rest of house was clean otherwise. Overall, we enjoyed our time and recommend this place.

Perfect for a family of 6

We loved our stay. The location is perfect, really quiet. Kathy was a perfect and very available host. The ants were definitely there, but I understand that's hard to sort out sometimes. We were 2 adults and 4 young children (3-5-7-9 years old) and we felt welcome despite the noise :-) 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, really ideal for a large family. The view in the courtyard was magnificent. We would definitely come back.

Perfect stay!

This property was not only stunning but an awesome location. We were close to everything and the view of the waterfront was just the cherry on top of the sundae. We also absolutely loved our host Kathy who made sure we were satisfied and comfortable. We absolutely want to come back to this perfect little gem of a place! Thank you again Kathy for everything :)

Beautiful view, peaceful area Our only complaint would be the cleanliness, was not up to par , and the ant issue in kitchen , there were traps but not enough to handle the amount

Great stay

The accommodations were excellent. My sister, our brother and sister in law as well as ourselves finally got together after 2 years. It was a great visit. Very comfortable. The view from the living area and master bedroom was amazing! Watching the spectacle sunrise was fantastic. Thank you to our host!

The house was great , in a very quiet area overlooking a small lake and bird sanctuary . The large deck was a great place to have coffee and watch the sun rise over the water in the morning. We would be happy to stay there again when we are in the area.Thanks Kathy for the wonderful stay,

A private oasis in nature

If you are considering a quiet getaway in nature with awesome views then this is your place.You have the top floor of a beautiful house with a huge balcony that overlooks water and a marsh.Ducks can be seen on it and in the surrounding trees are an array of birds and squirrels that are just beautiful.The inside of the upper house has 3 spacious bedrooms and open concept kitchen,livingroom and diningroom with floor to ceiling windows.You also can sit on front porch and relax and take in the nature sounds.It has 2 BR and one has a bathtub.Kitchen has all the bells and whistles you need and a huge island to cook and prep food should you so desire.They also have a BBQ on front porch.My only negative comment is I would have liked the kitchen drawers and cupboards to be cleaner.Past guests dropped crumbs in all of them.They have a dishwasher for your convenience as well.Had a hard time figuring out the cold water for the showers.Could only get hot water.Yikes.If you plan to watch TV then you should know they do not have cable or satellite which for my mom came as a shock as the French open was on and we could not get it.You can stream Netflux from your phone if you have an account set up already.DVDs are available.Get a good map and getting to Picton and Bloomfield is relatively easy and located on the same route.If you book a wine tour they pick you up in front of house which I highly recommend.Inside he house is a 2 sided fireplace which was lovely for cool nights.Thank you Kathy for responding to all my questions.In closing, I highly recommend this home for your next vacation to Prince Edward County.My family had a lovely time in this peaceful oasis.Very friendly neighbours as well.I give this home a 5/5. we are situated 7 minutes from Sandbanks Provincial Park. You can either drive or bike to the park. We include a Park pass with your stay.
