We enjoyed our stay. Well maintained. Very nice bedding. Kitchen is well equipped. Lots of wood for the stove. Fast internet. Great location to quiet vacation. Close enough to town. River would be a lot of fun in the summer. Quiet area.

Super cozy atmosphere, homey decor. Clean environment, dated carpet but clean. Updated comfortable mattress. Appliances were clean, stovetop could be updated. Screened in porch, outside deck and outside amenities were nice. We enjoyed making campfires and hanging out by the fire. Access to the creek was a bit challenging. The rope down to the creek was helpful for keeping our balance. I did make a mis-step due to leaves being on the steps and twisted my ankle. Once we got down to the creek we enjoyed sitting and watching the wildlife and soaking in the sun. Overall the experience was relaxing for a quick family getaway.

Gréât weekend away!

A few friends and I wanted a weekend away in the woods and this was a perfect location! Great size, fire pit, and not too far from town and some great hiking. Guides and communication beforehand and in the cabin were super helpful!

Cute camp hideaway

Perfect for quick trip! Loved the wilderness! Wish the walk down to creek was easier but it worked for the two days we stayed.

Great secluded getaway

Thanks so much for sharing your mountain retreat with us! The home was well stocked with the essentials. We loved being in the woods and near the water to explore and “unplug” for a few days.

Beautiful location, very comfortable space, the AC kept us cool even in 90 degree weather! Too bad about the blocked bridge but we got used to the little detour and even liked the drive!

Great cabin in the woods….by the creek

We enjoyed relaxing in the screened in back porch and by the creek. It’s very peaceful and serene. Plenty of room for the kids and dogs to run around. Very close to hiking trails and Berkeley springs.

This was our second visit to the cabin and we loved it! The back screened in porch is perfect for sitting and relaxing. The location is great if you are seeking relaxation, there are other cabins nearby but it was very quiet. The cabin was very clean when we arrived. We will be back!

My fiancé and absolutely loved our weekend stay. The location of the cabin is quiet and relaxing. Our favorite part was the back screened in porch where we could sit and watch the deer go by. There are many places to visit close by. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed. We will be returning next year!

Perfect!

The cabin was just what was advertised! The location was so quiet & peaceful! It was perfect for our 2 older dogs in that the cabin was easy for them to get around in. The hill on the other hand was challenging. We would love to go back once this pandemic is resolved as we came from out of state.

Excellent spacious cabin!

We enjoyed our Thanksgiving at the cabin! Great location and short drive into town. We loved that this cabin had a more spacious living room and seating area than many we previously rented. It has a great flow with the kitchen. While one of the bedrooms is pretty small, it worked great. Who spends time in the bedrooms much anyway? All around really great space. We didn't get to use the porches since it was chilly, but they'd be great in the warmer months. The woods surrounding are beautiful. And while houses nearby are close, we didn't see anyone else in the area. It was very quiet and peaceful. The firepit seating area is great. It is a steep trek down to the creek but the steps and ropes help so much. Coming up was easier than I expected. Overall- highly recommend this property!

Beautiful and quiet

This cabin is far nicer than we expected it to be. The photos of the interior really don’t do it justice! We stayed for 2 nights and really wished we had more time to stay longer. The surrounding community is quiet and well kept. We only encountered one neighbor and that was during our walk down to the community steamboat landing that is just a short walk up the road. We spent a lot of our time on the screened porch out back that looks down to the stream. The walk to the stream is quite steep but rope is provided for support. We got a great workout coming back up! The only thing I would change would be to get softer sheets for the queen bed. They were very warm but a tad scratchy. In all, we had a great time and would love to be back one day.

Great Little Getaway

This was a perfect little cabin to get away from the city for a few days. Very clean, bed was extremely comfortable, and had many of the essential pantry needs to help get you started; fire pit outside and plenty of firewood, hammock to relax in and a great screened in porch. The creek is down quite a steep embankment, would not be good for children, most pets, or anyone that would have difficulty with some steep terrain, but it was not a problem for my wife and myself, just have to haul yourself up and down using the strong rope provided. About 20 minutes from Berkeley Springs so easy to get into the city to shop around. Make sure to hit Tony's Butcher Shop (20 minutes away) to grab some grilling proteins and a great sandwich, the Food Lion is also only about 3 minutes from Tony's so you can grab all your provisions in one stop. Would highly recommend this to anyone looking to get some peace and quiet, no tv (which was awesome) so load up on some books and get ready to chill.

Nice spot about 20 min from BS

We had a good stay in mid-October. The path down to the creek is very steep and not very well maintained. Comfortable accommodations. And cozy spots. It could do with a bit better clean occasionally as there was some dust and some kitchen items were questionable.

I thought the property was nice and the area was beautiful but it was a little bit too isolated for me and I really wasn’t much to do around there also the walk down to the creek was pretty treacherous all in all it was OK

Berkeley Springs Memorial Day

The property worked well for us! The kids loved the rope railing in the backyard down to the creek. That was definitely a highlight. It is steep, however, and needs a few steps to be replaced. The beds were cozy and the heat worked smoothly. The shower was great - lots of hot water for 5. The house met our needs and the communication with the property managers was very timely and helpful!

Clean cabin lovely location

My family (wife, 7yr old, and 2 small dogs) enjoyed our stay. The cabin was clean and had all the amenities we were looking for. Was a nice weekend getaway. Quiet and beautiful location in the woods, but only a short drive down town and to Cacapon State park. Bit of a steep hill to get down to the creek so be prepared for that if you have little ones with you.
