First let me say, the condo is very nicely decorated and in a great location. My disappoints started way before arriving and was with the managing company Grand Welcome, Not a great first impression. Beware of this company's Cancellation or Change Policy, it is strict and unreasonable. My experience is a long story, but had a simple solution. The day after I made my reservation with Grand Welcome I wanted to adjust my departure date, I had vrbo text messages with them regarding the change request which I thought was taken care of months before my arrival. Two months later I am charged the balance of my stay which was still over 8 weeks away, the balance was for my original dates and not adjusted to my new dates. Several phone calls with Grand Welcome and VRBO, I was left with no help or adjustments of my stay and of course the cost! I have spent years coming to Hawaii, renting condos and have never had this treatment that Grand Welcome put upon me. I will make sure I never rent from this property managing company again. It is a shame because the condo was nice! I wonder if the property owner is aware of Grand Welcome's lack of customer service, I hope so now.
One other grumble, We rented this condo for 3 weeks, upon arriving we were provided 2 rolls of tp (good luck buying some during our Covid stay), one roll of paper towels, two tissue boxes with 3 tissues left, 3 dishwasher pods, no clothes detergent, 3 garbage bags, no shampoo and the smallest mini sized personal soaps for the sinks. Remember we were staying 3 weeks!
I hope this will help the owner look at how he can make his guests more comfortable in the future and that he takes a serious look at his management choice.
