I am a lover of beautiful things, good design, great architecture, intelligent conversation and a good sense of humor. I studies in bogota at a great school during one of the most difficult times in latin america just as all of us were maturing into political beings. After school i had a short stint as a director of a an american licensed tv program for kids called " romper room" and soon after i went into university to study law. There i discovered the value of higher education - not only because it gave me the foundation for doing something completely different from law- but because it opened a universe of ideas and discourses that enriched my life both intelectually and emotionally. In the late sixties i met my future husband, an extraordinary artist, and we moved to the northern mountains of colombia with a group of people and settled there for over a year. This experience was one of the most important in my life and to this day my commune friends are my family and that of my daughter. The bonds we created amongst us have been unbreakable and they all continue to be an integral part of us. I moved with my daughter to the us 30 years ago. From here i travel to my favorite places in the world - colombia of course, india, mexico, guatemala and everywhere i can !
