Beautiful and cozy!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved this cabin! The operators were extremely responsive. They made me feel like a guest rather than a burden. I had messaged them to ask if they knew if previous guests were able to get DoorDash etc to the cabin. They happily and quickly responded. The literal only complaint I have is just the entertainment portion. They have a tv and dvd player and speaker setup. It was a little difficult to use and the tv channel lineup was smaller than expected but the difficult part could be just user error. My boyfriend-turned-fiancé-this-trip was able to operate everything after a bit. The view was PHENOMENAL. You can see the lower cabin from the deck but only when you are standing. Once in the ever-essential hot tub all you see is beauty looking out. The cabin was clean and easy to get back to after the first trip up. My 2wd suv made it up pretty well, but I wouldn’t try it without help during snow/ice. We may be back to this one or try another from Elk Springs Resort for the honeymoon!

The check-in process was easy and straightforward, and communication with the host was clear and timely throughout.That said, several aspects could be improved. Cleanliness did not fully meet expectations—some towels were dingy and appeared past their useful life. The hot tub jets barely functioned, which limited enjoyment, and the pots and pans also seemed worn and in need of replacement. With better attention to cleanliness and basic upkeep, this property could offer a much stronger overall experience.

Beautiful views of the mountains right off the back porch. Cabin was very clean. The driveway is a little steep but we made it up. Bed could be a bit more comfy. It is pretty hard and uncomfortable. That would be our only fuss but everything else was just wonderful!

Beautiful rental with a fantastic view.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The rental we had was absolutely beautiful and the view was indescribable. We began everyday and ended everyday on the deck looking at the mountains. The rental is up a tight, windy road with only three other rental properties. It was very quiet and no traffic since it was a dead end. The only issues we experienced were a foul smell in the cabin upon our arrival. We found the smell in the fridge, dishwasher, and garbage can. We cleaned out these three items and placed a plug-in diffuser in the living room. After a couple days the smell went away and we were not bothered with it anymore. The environmental services staff could have done a much better job. The structure of the cabin was great. It had endless hot water and a room sized shower. The bed was comfortable and we slept soundly without any interruption. The hot tub on the deck was a nice feature but could use a little TLC. Many of the jets didn't function as they should, but still created a nice environment to sit out at night. The furnishings were very nice and comfortable. The outside gas fireplace is a nice feature even on a warm night. The inside has a gas fireplace that didn't function. The living room TV worked well with a little bit of practice, but the sound system was unmanageable. The bedroom TV was unable to get any of the satellite programming that you could on the living room TV. Thankfully we had an internet streaming device with us that we used in the bedroom. We sleep with the TV on at night. Not to the control of this property, but on the last two nights of our stay which was the weekend, a property through the woods obviously had new renters and they were loud, playing music, yelling and hollering. They were having a good time and this only affected our time on the deck. We did not hear them once inside the cabin. The management company was awesome for our reservations and advice of a cabin to stay in. My wife and I are first responders and wanted a nice, quiet place to vacation.

The staff was awesome, even had someone on duty when the power went out overnight during a storm. Our only downside was the steep driveway. I did see in the description on our reservation that 4 wheel drive was recommended for winter months, but our stay was in May. Our parking spot was across the steep driveway. We had difficulty unloading the car. We are in our 60's,our ankles were turning. I had to use a cane to navigate across the driveway. My little Ford Edge didn't have enough power, apparently to go up and down the drive, as I spun, mostly. We had brought enough food, so we didn't need to get out until our day of checkout. Since this was our first trip to the area, it is a lesson learned about accessibility. I will know what qualities to look for next time.

Wonderful honeymoon getaway

Check in was very easy as they simply send you a code and instructions to unlock the door, no stopping anywhere to pick up a set of keys. The cabin was very clean and well maintained and had almost everything we needed. Everything we wanted to use (grill, hot tub, fire table) worked and was easy to use. The cabin was close to downtown Gatlinburg and the national park. The day after we checked in, management called to make sure we had everything we needed and gave us some good recommendations on things to do and places to go. Check out was simple as all we had to do was send a text after leaving our cabin. We enjoyed our stay and plan to possibly book the same cabin in the future.

Everything was as described...big space, shower is hugeeee, the pictures don't do this cabin justice! Views were amazing. Staff was very helpful and communicated as needed. The only thing negative I can say was there was a huge spider web in the shower. But it was not bothersome to us. We had such an amazing time and found this to be the perfect quick getaway for future plans.

Quick trip and perfect getaway!

Getting in after 8pm made for a little confusion going up the driveway hill, but I was grateful for the cabin name signs. The driveway itself doesn’t leave room for a lot of error, but that’s small potato’s. The cabin was warm and cozy and just what I needed. It was clean, which is always a plus! My only complaint would be the kitchen sink water. I went to make coffee and the water was a cloudy cream color. Thankfully I had some bottled water with me and just used that. Aside from that, I would absolutely go back and plan to!! Beautiful views and quiet.... Couldn’t ask for more. Side note: easy drive into downtown! Park at the first public lot you see on the left. If not, you’ll get stuck in the traffic of downtown and in the center of town parking lot (harder to get out)

Amazing Cabin with Great View

The Cabin is beautifully designed with comfortable furniture, a pool table and hot tub. The view from the deck is out of this world. The place was very clean upon arrival. It met all our needs. The road to get to it is steep and narrow, it was fine for us but may be a bit too treacherous for some. This cabin is about 20 min from downtown Gatlinburg, situated in the mountains of the arts and crafts community. We liked being out in the woods away from the craziness of town. We will definitely be repeat customers and stay in this cabin again.

It was clean, has fantastic mountain views, and great amenities. It's a quick 15 minutes drive from downtown Gatlinburg. The staff at Elk Springs is also very friendly and helpful. I had to change some dates around for our stay and they helped me out no problems. I would highly highly recommend staying here if you are looking for a cozy cabin to stay in at the mountains. Just bare in mind that the drive is extremely steep and probably not very easy to get up if you have bald tires or stay when it's icy.
