Cozy getaway

Well kept property with updated appliances, pool table, and working hot tub. Utilized the wood burning fire place which was relaxing. Cute accents throughout the cabin. Fairly private area and quiet.

Great place enjoyed our stay … few recommendations fix bath tub upstairs no water comes out & upgrade bed it’s sinking in the center making it like sleeping on a taco other than that wonderful place very quiet & peaceful .. Becareful to no scrape your car when leaving driveway

Great Little Cabin

The cabin was great. No real issues. The hot tub motor was making a very loud noise when we arrived and we called the management company and they sent someone over to deal with it right away. The driveway is crazy steep. But our BMW made it up and down. If it snows or there is freezing rain a 4x4 would be needed with chains. We would go back. As for pets, a 100 yard walk is required to get them on semi level ground for break time.

Skip this one

Toilet wouldn’t flush, sink clogged, jacuzzi switch broke, terrible steep grade, very dark cabin, not enough light anywhere. Light bulbs out, several wasps in cabin flying by our beds. We stay at cabins every year and never had these problems. Very disappointed with Above ole Smokys Clouds.

Not Pet Friendly

After a 9hr drive we were excited to finally be at the cabin. It was a long winding road to get there but ok. The cabin is very nice but there are no views except for the trees right in front of your balcony. All the furniture was so uncomfortable both my husband and I had achey backs the who time and barely got any sleep. Oh and if you want to use the jacuzzi tub in the bedroom make sure you start the water about 2hrs ahead of time. I starter my bath water st 7:30pm and it still wasn't full enough to cover the jets until 9pm. By then I was over it. I will definitely be back to Tennessee but not at these cabins.

Enjoyable Relaxing Stay

We had a very nice stay. Inside was nice and ready for us to arrive. Hot Tub was nice. Jacuzzi tub jets did not work. Not much of a view from house but it was amazing location. We saw 6 bears while staying there. We had dogs, we walked everyday. Don't except to not walk your dog at this location because there is no grass around cabin. But the walking is amazing there. Very nice and relaxing area. Would go back again. Check in and check out was very easy. We had a slight issue with cable and maintenance came out within 30 minutes. It was fixed and no issues otherwise.

Beautiful log cabin

The log cabin was very nice and very clean ! I reported to house keeping the 1st floor sink was clogged, not a big issue. The only negative thing I could think of was the drive way was challenging, glad I had a jeep , ha ha

Disappointed

We decided on this property because it had a jacuzzi tub and a hot tub and were looking forward to using both. The hot tub was cold and didn't work our entire stay. We reached out to the maintenance staff and they came out and looked at it but did not communicate with us about if it would be fixed. The jacuzzi tub took over an hour to fill just a few inches of the tub and the jets did not work. We were super disappointed with those two things.

Cozy little cabin

From the booking to the checkout process, everything was very convenient and easy. The property was perfect for our getaway and was close enough to the action yet out just enough to truly relax and unwind. We especially enjoyed the pool table and hot tub. We will be back!

Unsafe driveway

I have a Nissan Titan, just got new tires the day before trip. Could not access property upon arrival due to VERY steep driveway. Had been raining and rear tires kept slipping. Cabin sits approx 50 feet above "main" road. Driveway is steep, I would guess 45 degrees or better and has no guardrail. If you slid off the driveway you would roll right off the side. Called company to say I could not access property and they basically said too bad, not our problem. Personal opinion is that access to the property is misrepresented. There is no description of the driveway or access to the cabin and I suspect that is very intentional. I certain would not have booked it if I had known. Took a $1400 loss on this, but just was not worth the risk. Too bad owners can;t do the right thing here. Would not recommend booking without a 4 wheel drive vehicle (anytime of year) and some experience with steep inclines.

Smoky Mountains Get Away

The cabin itself was beautiful. The driveway is very difficult to maneuver. There is no view of the mountains from the deck. The view was not as expected from the information given on the cabin. Overall we had a very enjoyable stay.

Good stay

The only negative thing I have is they need to install rails by the steps to get in the cabin, steps are slick when it rains and can be very dangerous.

Great place to stay

Cabin was great, very clean, very quiet and peaceful. The only problem I had was getting up the steps to get in the cabin. I have a bad knee and back and there is nothing to help you up the stairs. Over all we had an excellent experience will definitely rent again.

Windy roads and bears

Nice spot the driveway is steep so if your cars low like mine then you're in for it. That being said if you have a sports car you'll love the drive up the mountain. Saw 2 bears once sniffing around my car and once while we were packing the car to leave he popped his head in and tried to steal my moonshine!! Not as close to town as it seems. The hosts gave me the wrong door code at first and check out is 10 am instead of the usual 11 like most other cabins. The upstairs bath tub didn't ever fully fill up and based off the handcuff situation on the master bed someone was enjoying their stay 🤣. Internet never connected but with the hot tub and pool table activities I didn't mind the lack of wifi. Overall I'd say this cabin is worth it to me. Paying for parking in gatlinburg is the real killer.. bonus points for great views and a close by liquor store! 8/10

This was our first VRBO rental experience. We’ll definitely do it again!

Pros: This property was private, cozy, well maintained, and just what we dreamed of for our vacation. The pictures didn’t do it justice. Everything was clean, all appliances were in good working order, and the bed was comfortable. Cons: There’s a wonderful large shower head in the main bathroom (good supply of hot water and nice water pressure), however when reaching into the shower to turn it on to adjust the temperature, that shower head will soak the floor.

The kitchen ware was kind of low quality for that scale of cabin.of

The place was clean, however the firplace was dirty w lots of ashes. The bbq grill was missing but they located another one for us.

Great Weekend getaway!

Property is well-kept, secluded, clean, and adorable. Beds not real comfortable. Drive up the mountain pretty intense. Had to move 5 trees out of road to proceed down the mountain. Great place, would stay there again.
