It’s disappointing to hear that you had trouble with the door code, stairs, lack of BBQ and garbage. Door code: We’ll be sure to follow up with our property manager on your experience. I can assure you that our property management team is very responsive to guest needs. As a tip, you can also reach out to us directly through VRBO if you’re having trouble reaching our property manager. Garbage Disposal: We will review the garbage disposal instructions to see where improvements can be made. We’ve never had anyone ever mention this as an issue before (nor has our property manager with other properties). BBQ: While we agree having a BBQ would be nice, there are complexities with having one. This is why we choose not to and make guests aware of this through our listing. Stairs: The number of stairs we have is consistent with any 3-storey townhouse. We make guests aware that this is a multi-storey home in our listing.

Hello Peter – thank you for your important feedback. It helps us improve the experience we provide our guests – something that is important to us. It’s disappointing to hear that you feel the hot tub did not live up to your expectations. As you noted, the hot tub works. We have not had any concerns raised by our other guests about the hot tub. The hot tub is designed with several safety features that will force the hot tub to turn off when it exceeds a safety threshold (for example, if the temperature rises above a set limit, the motor overheats, etc.). The hot tub will also automatically turn off after 20min. Perhaps, exceeding safety limits is what was causing it to turn off? We will share your experience with our hot tub service company when we have the annual maintenance done after the ski season is over. The Province of BC safety guidelines for hot tub use indicates to “Avoid staying in the hot tub for more than 10 minutes at one time” (you can review them here: (https://www.healthlinkbc.ca/healthlinkbc-files/hot-tub-pool-safety). Sitting for a long duration is not recommended. You also mentioned in your initial inquiry that you’ve had challenges with hot tubs at other places you’ve stayed in the past. Perhaps the other hot tubs also had the same safety features in place.
