Not the holiday accommodation we were excited for

We booked this accommodation for our family of 5 and family dog for a special weekend away. We arrived to a horrible smelling house with poor cleanliness. Cleaners forgot to put bed sheets on 2 beds and had to arrange for some to be delivered on our second day of stay. communication was good and the little extra activities and toys at the home were a nice touch for the kids but this accommodation left us disappointed and feeling dirty. Wonderful location and a good pet friendly yard. Sadly wouldn’t recommend this accommodation for the price payed.

Getaway

Sliding rear wire door needs fixing. Very noisy when sliding. Water coming through taps has very earthy smell. Laundry tub fills up when washing machine drains, takes a long time to clear.

Superb location!

Being one street back from main street made this the perfect location for our family! It was so convenient to pop out for meals and coffee & ice cream! Fully fenced in front & back yards meant we could relax knowing our babies & fur baby were always safe! It was lovely sitting under the olive tree in the afternoon :) The house was tidy enough. The lawns were very overgrown though (the kids thought it made it a magic garden!)

Perfect house and location

This house was perfect for us. Two adults, two kids and our dog. Location is excellent - the main street only a two minute walk. House was tidy and well equipped. The front and back yards both enclosed and dog and kid safe. Highly recommend! We will be back.

Great location. Walking distance into town and close to Rorary Park where I could walk the dog...

Well equipped and comfortable house. We enjoyed our stay. So easy to walk into town or to Woolworths for some shopping. Rotary park( Playground) is just down the road and I found a lovely bush walk for our dog.

Perfect location

The property was in a perfect location with a small walk to the main street and dog exercise park. The property was clean and was a great size with a good sized yard for my dogs.

Margaret River Stay

We had a fantastic stay in Margaret River at this accommodation. It is very central, you can walk into town to all the lovely cafes and shops. It is cosy, clean and has everything you need for a break away. Would definitely love to go back one day.

Hi - we are Dee, Nichole & Sarah - we make up Swell Stays, a holiday home company in the Margaret River Region.
We all live with our families in Margaret River and manage houses in Margaret River, Prevelly and Gracetown. We love living in Margaret River and wake up everyday feeling like we are "Living the dream Down South".
We love our region and enjoy getting involved in all that our community has to offer - you will often find us visiting the local Farmers Market on Saturday mornings, drinking coffee at one of our favourite local Cafés (Egberts or White Elephant), joining a Walk Talk Taste Tour of our town's best restaurants & bars, visiting one of our many cellar doors to purchase some local wine or spending a whole day at the beach with the kids!
We want our guests to be able to relax and enjoy all our great region has to offer and at Swell Stays we understand the importance of cleanliness and customer service, which in turn creates the perfect holiday experience for our guests.
