Perfect Place

We stayed here for the weekend because our relative was getting married at Church Landing. It was perfect for us. Easy to get to the venue and had some time to enjoy the peaceful lake setting. The owner was very responsive and easy to communicate with. The house was beautiful!

The perfect place

This home was perfect for our weekend to celebrate my daughter the bride to be. Wonderful kitchen to prepare meals and dine. The porch with white wicker was incredible. Comfortable sleeping. We brought out paddle boards and I even got to see an Eagle in the wild on Sunday morning. Highly recommend for a get away of peaceful easy feelings.

Lady’s weekend away

This rental was perfect for our long weekend stay. The house was big with plenty of space for us all. The big kitchen was full of fun food and loads of laughter. Thank you Bob for being such a great host! He was so helpful always there to answer all our questions. All in all a wonderful place with the best views ! Thank You!

Here for a family wedding

We were here for a wedding at Castle of the Clouds and found this wonderful home on the lake. We loved the open floor plan in the dining, kitchen, and living area. There was a great primary suite on main floor and 2 large bedrooms with many beds, and a large bathroom on second floor. We spent some time on the four season porch for coffee in the morning, drinks in the evening. With such a beautiful setting, we enjoyed time at the house as well. Gorgeous scenery in October!!

Wedding weekend

This property was a perfect pick for my family and I to stay on the weekend of our wedding. The property manager was always available for questions. The property outside was beautiful for pictures. I would stay here again. It was a little confusing having to pay cleaning fee but having to clean before we left like vacuuming. All in all a good weekend of celebrating!

Great place and owner

We all really loved the house. Had everything we needed. Very clean and comfortable. Would have been even better if we stayed here in the summer to really take advantage of its location, yard and central air. Wish pets were allowed- my dog would have loved it too. Owner was a real pleasure to work with and very responsive. I would highly recommend this property. You will not be disappointed.

Amazing Location

The location of this property was amazing. It was so peaceful. The house was directly on the lake with a boat launch on one side of the house and a swimming beach on the other side. You literally never have to leave the property for fishing, swimming and yard games. The yard is completely flat and perfect for any and all games. The house was just as advertised. We had 7 adults staying at the property and it fit us all comfortably. We had a few small issues, but Bob was very responsive and was able to fix it with ease. He was a great host!

Lakeside stay

We were in the area for a wedding and sadly couldn’t spend enough time there! The house was great - everything we needed w a fabulous view of the lake. (I dunno though, the 50 foot trek to the edge of the lake was a bit tiring…. 😁) We had some time to hang by the water on Sat am, it was lovely and peaceful. The lake was quiet and bc we were down a little curl de sac, it was peaceful with no road noise at all. We used the 2 queens and one of the full size beds and they were all very comfortable. Really good water pressure in the showers and a well equipped kitchen. I would definitely stay again, it was a great location both bc of the lake and its proximity to town.

Fantastic waterfront and location

The house bright, open and well-maintained, with its own beach, easy boat launch, and docks. What a gorgeous, clean lake! Sunsets are amazing from the 2nd story balcony. All this is within minutes to Meredith Center and all it has to offer. Highly recommend.

Perfect home away from home!

I have stayed at a lot of properties and this may be the most enjoyable stay that I have had. Walking into the house it looked exactly like the photos...the only difference was that it felt so much more spacious. It was really clean as well, which I appreciated traveling with 2 young kids. I can't tell you how many houses I've come into and there's been issues - this was not one of those. The kitchen was large and spacious and came with everything that you would want. There was a keurig as well as a regular coffee maker (it's not in the photos). Bob was really great. We had one minor thing pop up during our stay that I communicated with him, I didn't expect anything to happen until after we left, but he drove all the way down (a 2 hour drive) to take care of it. I appreciated that so much. It had snowed the night before and everything was shoveled by time we arrived - which I did not expect! The house has a really great layout that worked for us. There is a master bedroom (queen bed) that has its own bathroom on the first floor. That let my MIL (who traveled with us) to have her own space and we had the entire second floor for us. There's also an additional bathroom on the first floor which was really nice to have. Upstairs the bedrooms are spacious and all have a beautiful view of that lake. We came during the winter so we didn't get to enjoy the lake but we did love the spacious yard for playing in the snow. Additional bonus: tons of parking space, it's on a private drive so there's no cars driving by the house at all and the location is only 5 minutes from downtown Meredith. The only thing that was a minor negative was the internet was a bit spotty. Nothing too bad but we did have the shows we were streaming pause every so often. Overall we really loved our stay and would definitely recommend this to anyone. We will for sure return!

Great weekend getaway

We stayed for a weekend in November, so we didn’t expect great weather or views. The lake was still beautiful in the morning sun. I expect that families would have a great time here in warmer weather. The small beach and boat launch are just feet away. The water is very clear. The house has a pool table and plenty of games, books and videos to keep kids busy. For us we just wanted a quiet place to get away for the weekend. It’s very quiet and yet only a few miles from plenty of restaurants, bars and shops. We didn’t use the kitchen but it appeared to have everything you’d need. Bob the owner checked ina couple of times to make sure everything was OK . We never had any issues, but I can tell he’d quickly respond if needed. A couple of recommendations to make it even better….would like to see King bed in the main bedroom and a code for a digital lock would be better for security.

Beautiful Lake House

We really enjoyed or stay at this beautiful lake house. Sipping coffee in the morning and enjoying the unobstructed view of the lake was priceless. Our host Bob was extremely friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed several of the Meredith restaurants but the overall favorite would have to be Camp. This was a perfect location for our family trip.

Lakefront Fun!

This is a great spot for family fun! The owners are great people that have owned the property for decades. They seem to genuinely like their guests and treated us like family, while allowing us plenty of space to do our own thing.
