The property is old and has the smell of old in it. One of the beds had blood on the sheets and the family members who planned to stay there had to get a hotel room as there weren’t even clean sheets available to replace them.The shower curtain rod was unsecured and hair in the bath tub. The kitchen is rough: the cupboards are gross and kitchen pots are old and damaged, no toaster, you have to light the stove with a match. There was no dishwasher detergent, even though starting the dishwasher is part of checkout instructions. They did at least have a new sponge and dish soap available. They say that there is laundry available, but it was in the creepy basement that obviously was not set up to be a guest area. The dining room has a very old shag rug under it and the chairs were old and stained. There was a letter from the utility company in the entryway that said on the front of the envelope that they should check their pipes for lead, so we had to buy bottled water to cook and drink. The banister to the third floor was unsecured at the bottom, posing a safety concern.Back porch was used for restaurant storage - unusable. The ad says there is space for RV parking but the street size and parking on the street would make that impossible. The neighborhood did not feel safe and people would block the driveway. The ac window units were plugged into extension cords, a fire hazard. We only stayed because there was no other big enough places to move the family last minute.
