We had a great stay at Scenic Ridge Cabin. It is perfect for a small family of 3 or 4. The area is beautiful and peaceful, with lots of wildlife. We saw bison, wild pigs, wild turkeys, deer, prairie dogs, and tons of rabbits. The loft has a very low ceiling, so it is best for kids. Stores and restaurants are about 20 minutes away, so I recommend bringing food and enjoying meals at the cabin. Highly recommend for a relaxing family getaway in the Wichita Mountains.

My wife and I appreciate the seclusion. This place has a unique comfortable design with an awesome kitchen and cold AC. There is a great view of the mountains from the porch. We are enjoying a cup of coffee on the porch as I'm typing this. The cabin is close to the wildlife refuge, the lakes, Medicine Park and a bunch of other cool stuff to explore. The host provided a lot of information about what to see in the area.

The cabin was exactly as described and perfect for our group of 4. The kitchen was well stocked, the beds, were comfortable, and the cabin felt cozy. We had to use both the AC and heater during our stay, and it was easy to switch between the two. David was very communicative and easy to work with during our stay.

My family loved the beautiful Mountain View. Location was great! We enjoyed seeing the animals along the way to cabin. Everything you need was in the cabin. The kids had a blast going up the ladder to their beds. Beds are super comfy. Everything was nice and clean. Visit to mount scott, holy city and medicine park very close. The old plantation restaurant had amazing food.

We had a great stay. We didnt do much, but we did go to Mt. Scott and ate at Medicine Park. The food was great and the experience was great.

We have loved coming to the Wichita Mountain Wildlife Refuge and Medicine Park since we moved back to Oklahoma City in 2000. Scenic Ridge Cabin provides us a welcome reset from our day-to-day lives in OKC. We appreciate every opportunity we can to enjoy our cabin and escape our busy lives, but when we can't make it - we love sharing it with others!

We had frequently daydreamed about having a little getaway near the Wichita Mountain Wildlife Refuge and Medicine Park and were thrilled to stumble onto the Scenic Ridge Cabin "for sale" over Memorial Day weekend of 2015. We stayed for a "test" weekend and immediately fell in love with the cabin, with its special location on three acres overlooking Mount Scott, Mount Sheridan, Tarbone Mountain, the Slick Hills and the windmill farm. Our unique octagon shaped cabin has been lovingly and thoughtfully renovated and furnished. The views are incredible, and nothing beats relaxing on the wrap around patio.

Some of our favorite things about our cabin include: coffee or a glass of wine on the wrap around patio; the artisan touches and finishes; the privacy and solitude; nightly bunny sightings (most often at dusk;) collared lizards hanging out on the rocks; occasional owl sightings; proximity to Meers, Medicine Park, and the Wichita Wildlife Refuge; cooking dinner for a relaxing evening on the couch, watching a movies or a football game; wild turkeys scattered about our neighborhood; our kind neighbors and their sweet and loving dogs.
