At True North Cabin Rentals we have 5 cabin’s together with nice lake views from the 1 acre resort property. The MAIN Cabin is 4 1/2 bedroom, 2 bath cabin for rent at beautiful Higgins Lake that sleep 15. Included you will find full beds, queen beds couches, coffee maker, toaster, dishes, tv/dvds, glassware, silverware, pots and pans linens, towels and everything else you will need for your fun filled summer vacation, along with a fire pit, BBQ grill, and horse shoes. A nice shallow small sandy beach and Public dock just steps from the cabin(unfortunately no overnight mooring). The Silver Dollar Bar just one block up the street, and Party Store less than a mile away. Cabin is located at 2308 Treasure Blvd. Higgins Lake MI. Pontoons, Fishing & Ski Boats, Jet Skis, Paddleboards, Kayaks, ATVs, Scooters, and UTVs available for rent at a discounted price for all renters through GO FAST Rentals that are also one block away.
PETS OK! ($45 per pet) Campfire wood available on property for purchase.

Amazing vacation! The Main House plus 3 cabins gave ample space & privacy for our group of 20 babies & 4 dogs! The backyard is perfect for campfires & play area for the young ones. Being so close to the public street access was very convenient! Renting a pontoon from Go Fast made the vacation complete!! We’ll be back! Already booked for 2026! Thanks to Jeremy, Cathy & April (plus crew) for making our stay so memorable!

Family Cottage week

We have been doing our family cottage week here for three years. Always a good time. Jeremy the host is always responsive and his Mom Kathy as takes care of the cleaning needs. We had a great week. Lots of room for the 12 of us. Love the back deck allowing us to be outside even if it rains.

Great Stay

Each year we stay that this venue. We love it every years. Sleeps a lot of people comfortably, and has great places to hang out. Additionally the new deck and deck covering (pergola) are amazing. Only issues is the confusion over wireless internet and TV. No local tv to watch, and the wireless internet listed in the app is different than the one they actually want you to lose. if they changed to the correct one in the app...all would be fixed :)

Trail Riding

We’ve stayed at the Cabins before but never the Main, and we will definitely be renting this one again. It was great for our crew to eat together and spacious. The porch was amazing!

Beautiful

My group had such a great time here the cabin is beautiful. It’s so close to the water. It’s such a great area. The silver dollars is a great dining place. That is very close within walking distance. Definitely would stay here again. It was amazing.

Love Higgins Lake!

The Main Cabin meets our family needs perfectly! We rented for 12 days this time which allowed us to invite multiple family members to join us! We love that the properties are dog-friendly! See you next year!

Great trip!!

We booked the Main House and Cabin #2 for a group trip of 12 adults. Had a great time! Plenty of room. Addition of the back covered porch on the main house was awesome! Could use some lights even if just string lights for night time. Need one more big can for recycling. See you next year!

Great Location

This house is more spacious than the pictures represent. The back deck is amazing. There is plenty of seating, dishes, and towels. The beds are comfortable. We enjoyed the close proximity to the lake and the two kayaks. There is a collection of ragtag bikes, but most had flats. When we asked Jeremy about it, he quickly responded and brought a small air compressor for the tires. If you plan to cook for a big group, you need to know there are limited serving bowls and I recommend you bring any cookware you need. Other than those minor details, everything was great and we enjoyed our stay. Thanks Jeremy and Cathy!!

Great spot for a group

Large house was perfect for us. Large group from work. Everyone had a spot of their own. Outdoor covered deck was great. Nice, clean place.

Annual Family Cottage week

We have a family cottage week every summer. This was our second year at the main csbin and one other cabin. Everything was great. The new covered deck was perfect for eating and just hanging out . Lots of space. Owners are great abd very responsive to any issues. Already booked our stay for next year.
