Perfect getaway beach house

We rented Beach Therapy for ladies weekend and that is just what it was. The house was just perfect. Definitely will rent again.

Great Views & Beautiful Beach

We had a great Thanksgiving at the beach! The house was great and large enough for 12 of us to eat together and the kitchen had everything we needed! We have family that live nearby and they came to the beach to enjoy the day! We had plenty of room to enjoy a great meal together and then a long walk down the beach afterward. Would stay here again!

Great duplex, wonderful location

We just spent a wonderful week in this lovely duplex. It is relatively new, well decorated and well laid out. We loved the master bedroom, which had a great view of the ocean, beach and pier. And we were especially looking for a covered porch, so we could sit outside under some shade. North Carolina can get really hot. And this porch fit the bill. It was great to be able to walk to several restaurants and stock up on water at the tiny store. A few drawbacks: you cannot see the beach from the porch. You see the ocean but not the beach. And the pier is lit up all night and there is no way to black out the windows. Also. the sun rises at 6:00 am, and again, no black out curtains. Other than that, no complaints. We would return.

Family Vacation

We had a great week at Beach Therapy! The house was roomy and the kitchen was well stocked with cookware. However, I only gave 4 stars for cleanliness, because we found broken glass on the bar in the kitchen when we arrived. It appeared as if someone had broken a light bulb. Later that evening we found more glass on the rug under the dining table and in the kitchen floor under the cabinet. This was concerning as our 11 month old granddaughter was with us. Accidents happen but apparently enough time wasn’t spent cleaning up the broken glass.

Beautiful

The house is wonderful, location on the beach perfect. My husband and I could stay forever. My two teens were bored to tears. It’s early spring so that didn’t help, but it’s even far from little surf city. I’m sure summer is busy. Very quiet!

Beautiful, comfortable home!

We truly enjoyed our stay at Beach Therapy. The house is spacious and comfortable and we all enjoyed the balcony and private beach access. The home could use a little extra cleaning (dusting ceiling fans, blinds, etc.) but, overall, we don't have any complaints. We had a great time!

Old and young agree - this place was perfect

I rented this property for my husband, myself, my 3 small children, and my senior parents. The house was perfect for all of our needs. My mom has trouble walking, so she stayed on the covered porch for most of our stay and was able to enjoy the beach from there. She said it was perfect - she could enjoy the breeze, the sounds of the ocean, and of course the beautiful view, all while in the shade of the covered porch. For my kids and me, the easy beach access was key! Being oceanfront is such a nice convenience. My only complaint is that linens were not included. You can rent them for an additional fee. Overall this property was great! Lots of sand for playing between the house and the ocean. The kitchen was awesome, and the house was very clean and comfortable.

"Vacation with a WOW VIEW"

Absolutely beautiful view from this property. Great time seeing the Dolphins from our porch! Easy access to the Beach and Fishing Pier. We had to use the heat some during our stay and it worked very well with the ceiling fans blowing! Would love to go back. If you book Beach Therapy for your vacay stay - be sure to at least stay 14 days! One week would be too short a stay.

Awesome location!

The view was amazing! Awesome house! It was quiet and peaceful, beach was never crowded. We would definitely stay here again.

Windows open!

We enjoyed our stay at Beach Therapy. The home was nicely decorated and Covid clean. Master bedroom was spacious and excellent/comfortable mattress - and a huge bonus for us was being able to open the windows and listen to the ocean waves breaking on shore!

Needed therapy!

Loved the location! So nice to just open the front door and see and hear the ocean. Great beach for walking!! Very peaceful and no big crowds. Master bedroom is as amazing as it looks and front porch is heaven! Thanks for the therapy it was just what the Dr ordered!

Escape to the quiet shores

The rental process was straightforward, the property was very nice and Ward Realty was very responsive and even helpful in suggesting a company where we could rent a propane grill for the stay.
