Enjoyed our stay, always love being on a creek. Home was comfortable, although I didn't use kitchen, it is well stocked. Nice that it wasn't on main drag, yet close enough when you wanted to be. Decorated very cute with the fish and barrel theme. I would stay again, it was quiet area.

Great Location, Great Cabin

We enjoyed our stay at Barrel of Fun. The only downfalls were the front door as it usually took 4-5 tries to get inside and there was very limited tv stations to watch- no cable like TLC, Lifetime, TBS, etc. The best part was sitting on the deck in the morning/evening watching the flowing river and the geese family come by for a visit. The location of the property was perfect as you felt you were far away from Parkway but yet you were very close. It was quiet and peaceful.

Perfect Family Getaway with Amazing River Access

Our stay at this property was absolutely perfect for our family. The river view and access were spectacular, and my kids had the best time. We only ate out once because the grill and full-size kitchen made it easy to cook all our meals. My boys especially enjoyed fishing and paddle boarding down the river. We're already planning to come back for our next Ripken Experience and will definitely stay here again!

Came 2 yrsago honeymoon. Returned so daughter could see Titanic, comedy barn, Acquarium and we got matching tatoos. She brought friends liked cabin . The cabin is awesome fully stocked kitchen & bathrooms, nice tv's hot tub and fire pit.

Nice but didn’t meet expectations.

Nice cozy cabin with beautiful river views. Master bed not comfortable and sheets were cheapest I’ve ever slept on. Children had to sleep on pullout couch and with my husband and I the whole trip due to an ant problem. Owner reachable and very apologetic but still not able to use the loft. Clean sheets were not offered after ants found in beds. Hot tub does not keep to temp. We unfortunately will not be returning customers.

Quick Getaway

Cozy cabin that's nicely decorated and easy access to the attractions and food choices on the Parkway. The river made it a serene setting. We loved the cabin! Great fit for an older couple and 2 grandchildren!

Great Location

We enjoyed the location of the cabin. The area was quiet, but it was still very close to everything we wanted to do while on vacation. We would consider staying here again the next time we return to the area.

Fun in Pigeon Forge

Barrel of Fun cabin was great. The cabin feels spacious for 900 sq ft. and perfect for our family of four. It was clean and had everything needed (dishes, bed linens, etc.). Our grandson loved that he had his own tv with video games. it is also in a great location. Close to restaurants and Dollywood. Very peaceful by the river.

Nice place on the river

Accommodations were nice. Access to the river was not as expected. It was about an 8 foot drop off to the water. Fire pit was very nice. Bed was comfortable. Appliances were very good. Very relaxing area. Hot tub was a little small. Wifi was good.

Peaceful and perfectly located

We stayed at the Barrel of fun cabin for a week while in Pigeon Forge for baseball. The proximity to the fields, shopping, restaurants and family fun was great. We thoroughly enjoyed the outdoor space the cabin offered. My kids fished, floated and explored the river. We also enjoyed the hot tub and relaxing deck area. Everything in the house was exactly as pictured. Very clean and comfortable. The hosts were very quick to reply when needed. We loved the cabin and hope to return again!

The Perfect Getaway

My family and I stayed at A Barrel of Fun last week and we couldn’t be happier about our stay! It is a beautiful cabin! You will not be disappointed. Barbara was an amazing host and responded quickly any time we reached out to her. The cabin is in the perfect location! It’s just over a mile from the parkway and all the attractions. It was easy to make a quick stop back at the cabin throughout the day, no long drive up the mountain. The cabin was extremely clean! Having a daughter who had a heart transplant, I normally have to clean upon arrival. I did not have to do that this time. My two teenagers really enjoyed the hot tub in the evenings. I would highly recommend staying at A Barrel of Fun! We will definitely be staying here again in the future!

Riverfront rendezvous

Beautiful riverfront property. Can't beat the location. Enjoy the ducks and geese. Very peaceful and calming. Great place to stay.

This property is unique in that it is decorated in tune with its name, "A Barrel of Fun". We have custom made wine barrel vanities in each bathroom. The chandelier was custom made from a wine barrel. And the dining table is a work of art, constructed by an artisan from Wears Valley. The location and views of the river provide for a relaxing atmosphere.
