Our place as first timers was just what we needed. One local grandson brought his sleeping bag with him and slept on the couch. We had a grand visit. Everything was perfect.

Had a wonderful 2 week stay at this property. (If the weather had been better, it would have been perfect!)It's called The Charleston" and is comfortable, nice amenities, stocked with everything and owners were there if we needed anything. We hope they will let us stay on our next visit to the Springs!

Cozy & Ideal for short stays

The hosts were fantastic and could not be more helpful & agreeable. The apartment was lovely. It is on the smaller side and kitchen facilities are small as well. But it is in a great location/neighborhood and it was ideal for what I needed. I would definitely recommend it.

Perfect little place!

This 1 bedroom apartment had all necessities plus many extras, such as ample paper products, local coffee and pastries, and toiletries. Communication with the property owners was timely and always helpful. Great location for access to all local entertainment/sightseeing.

Accommodations were pleasant and comfortable. We were welcomed warmly with coffee and bakery. Shower was excellent and bed was comfortable. Kitchen was filled with supplies. Location was excellent as well.

Great place!

This is a lovely home away from home! Our host Bob and Mary were very nice people who were gracious and willing to help us with anything we may have needed. We didn't need much of anything because they supplied us with things I wouldn't have even thought of! The Charleston has an awesome view of Pikes Peak and easy access to I-25 which would take you about anywhere you'd want to go. Our son is stationed at the Air Force Academy which was very close. This is our first time staying in anything other than a hotel and I believe Bob and Mary spoiled us, needless to say we won't choose a hotel anytime soon. We will definitely be staying at the Charleston again if it's available the next time we visit Colorado Springs! I highly recommend this home and the hosts!!!

Clean, Comfortable, and Cozy!

Clean, comfortable and cozy! This describes our vrbo rental from Bob and Mary. We appreciated the easy access, very comfortable bed, with adjacent bath, washer and dryer, and a television in both the great room and the bedroom. We had a question and Bob answered it immediately. Altogether a very pleasurable experience!

perfect spot for an extended stay

I needed a place to stay in town for a month while I looked for permanent housing, and this was the perfect choice! The apartment is fully stocked with all the cooking and cleaning tools I needed, the hosts were quick to respond to any requests, and the neighborhood is absolutely beautiful. I highly recommend staying here!

Colorado Trip

Our Thanksgiving visit worked out so well with our Vrbo lodging, which was in close proximity to our son and family. The house was so clean and the neighborhood was beautiful and quiet. Bob and Mary were quick to answer any questions, and we loved the pastries and coffee that were provided on our arrival. Best stay ever in a Vrbo!

Monument CO home away from home

This place is a gem in a gorgeous neighborhood in Monument. Mary and Bob provide you with every possible comfort and the place is impeccably clean and the finishings seems brand new. Super comfy bed. Can’t think of one thing to complain about. Hope to come again.

Parents day weekend

We really enjoyed our stay, we arrived late just before midnight and we checked inn without any problem. The apartment is super clean, spacious, and well furnished, has everything that you need, even extra things that I didn’t expect. The neighborhood is quite and safe and the location was great for us. The hostess welcomed us with fresh pastry and cold water, which we appreciate it. My husband and I we had the pleasure of meeting Bob and Mary and they are nice and helpful. Will definitely stay here again.

Monument stay was "monumental"!

Stay at this rental was far superior and less expensive than a hotel, especially during tourist season in Colorado Springs. bedroom is large with walk-in closet and lots of drawer space, bathroom/shower facilities great, LR with sofa, tv and kitchen felt like living at home rather than a hotel. "greeted" with pastry and coffee! Food shopping within 5 minutes of location. Highly recommended rental!! The Gordons

We have lived in the Colorado Springs area since 1994 and have raised our family here. Our children and grand children all live within a 40 minute drive and also call beautiful Colorado their home. The small community of Monument has been our home since 1995. We enjoy camping, hiking, fishing and hunting in the Colorado outdoors. Mary is a local artist and you may start to see some of her artwork soon featured in The Charleston. We both were born and grew up in Wisconsin and have meandered to IL and OR before making Colorado our home.

We have lived at The Heights at Jackson Creek in Monument since 2005. We purchased this home a block from where we had lived because of the attached "mother-in-law" apartment that we desired to turn into a VRBO apartment for others to enjoy this beautiful Colorado community. The Charleston is brand new on VRBO and we are very excited to welcome and serve new guests.

As an alternative to a small hotel room, guests can enjoy spreading out in this roomy 1 bedroom main level apartment. It has it's own private entrance and is locked from the rest of the ranch style home. Hardwood floors and 10 foot ceilings adorn this private retreat. Your own private full bath is off the bedroom. You are just 12 minutes from the Air Force Academy and 5 minutes from I-25. The Colorado Rockies are at your doorstep!
Cozy up to a movie on the TV in the living room or in the bedroom. Wifi is included. The couch in the living room folds out into a full size bed for your kids or guests. Cook your own meals in the fully stocked kitchenette or dine out just minutes away.
