Beautiful spot for enjoying walkerville beaches and not far from wilson’s prom. The house is not fancy but had all the things we needed and some nice bird watching from the back porch. We had a great summer holiday week, thanks!

Clean and basic accommodation, Host was very quick to respond to messages and was polite. We were uncertain about how long the hot water would last owing to a sign about hot water on night rates.No WiF was a problem for those of us who had left young kids at home.The lighting on the deck didn’t work. It’s was good enough for 2 nights and close to Wilson’s Prom and Cape Liptrap and yes, there are lots of birds in the garden:)

Home-from-home!

Spotless, well-equipped, comfortable and perfectly located as a base to explore the coastal and inland beauty of the area. The neighbourhood was quiet and peaceful. Loved it! We'll be back.......hopefully for much longer stays!

Clean and tidy bungalow

The property was clean and tidy. Quiet cul-de-sac in a lovely location. Lots of native birds visit the garden. My only suggestion to other guests would be to bring your own pillows if you need something supportive.

Best Road Trip I Ever Had

I was very very impressed by the property because it actually looks better than the images because the serenity of the property can't be deacribed with words. My friends and I were having a Wilson's trip and we didnt just enjoy the stay, we created memories. The property is also a 10mins walk away from the beach so it is very convenient.

Excellent place

Everything was clean, the host was super helpful, nice location. The water had some foul taste to it, maybe because of harvested rainwater. It was okay to have a shower or for washing something but we brought our own cooking and drinking water. The closest supermarket (IGA) is 20 mins away. Overall, it was great a great place to say and highly recommend.

Barnacle was just serene ! It’s located in a quiet cul-de-sac within short drive from Tarawin Lower. The rooms were all clean and spotless. The only girpe was with the weather since it was pouring down quite a bit and there’s only one heater at the living area and bedrooms don’t have any heating options. Better rug up when coming here during colder seasons

Walkerville Getaway

Had a great time staying here for 3 nights! Clean property, lots of space for parking and had all the listed amenities. Our host had communication on point and was always prompt with replies. Walkerville beach was close by, beautiful view. Walkerville does not have many shops nearby - had to travel to near towns to get groceries and fuel. Next time will buy groceries on the way!

Great house, very easy to deal with the owner

The house was very lovely, super tidy and had more than we expected in it. We found it very comfortable...... the shower was amazing.... a lovely little home away from home. Owner very friendly and easy to communicate with. Thanks Janine. We will be back.

Convenient location close to Wilsons Prom

The house was in a convenient location to access South Gippsland and Wilsons Prom. Some areas of the home needed a bit of a clean - the coffee machine has sediments in the water tank and dried milk on the milk frother, dining table had not been wiped down. My friend had sensitive skin and felt itchy on one of the beds, but others including myself were fine. The host was very responsive and receptive to feedback, so I’m sure these issues will be rectified in future.Other points to note - you need to throw away the rubbish at the Fish Creek tip as there’s no facility to use the rubbish bin. BYO internet.

Nice and clean accommodation

Great place to explore wildlife animal in the backyard. We saw a koala in the backyard tree. The rooms are reasonable clean and the bathroom is great.

Great Getaway

Stayed at Barnacle for a few nights and we loved it. House was very clean inside and beds were comfortable. Nice quiet neighbourhood where kids could ride their bikes around.
