Absolutely Awesome

We were two couples and two Shetland Sheepdogs, who stayed for two nights. we will most defiantly be booking again, our only complaint being that we did not book to stay longer. Thank you Melissa for making us so welcome in your beautiful home. We felt very spoilt with home made bread, dog treats, and such a very warm welcome. We would not choose to stay any where else on our future trips to North Haven. Huge Thank You Melissa sincere regards Ann

Quiet retreat

Enjoyed our stay in this very well appointed and supplied cottage. The accommodation was a delight and we were able to have a very relaxing holiday. This is a genuine dog-friendly place. What impressed us also were the extras supplied for which we were very thankful. Once the trees have grown it will be a very private spot but pity the mangoes had not ripened in time for our stay. With many long beaches and a breakwater for walks lots of exercise was had for both humans and canine although we did heaps of reading. Thanks very much Melissa .

A wow experience

I felt so welcome at this property. When we arrived there was freshly baked bread and jam waiting. There were clear instructions for operating all the appliances and a fabulous coffee machine. The location is near to the water, a park with extensive walking/cycling paths . Our little dog was catered for as well. There was a water bowl waiting for her as well as a fully fenced yard. In short superb! One thing I would add if that there are no blinds or curtains. If you like to sleep in, eye masks are essential.

Wonderfully kind Hostess

We were unable to keep our long held reservation over Christmas Day, due to our enforced isolation from being a close contact with a confirmed Covid case. It was such an unsettling and disappointing time for my family. Melissa has been amazingly caring and generous in refunding our payment, even though we hadn’t canceled until after our stay should have begun. Her kindness made our Christmas in isolation at home so much more bearable. Thank you 🙏

Stylish and Cozy

Melissa , is the owner she is a creative , thoughtful person to both human and canine comforts . She supplies the most thoughtful items to make it a memorable stay. The home is beautiful Scandinavian design , modern ,earthy and has luxurious bed linen . She has brought a bit of sparkle to Leighton Close and North Haven . A wonderful and most amazing 1st Pet friendly holiday. Love the Also waiting for us on the wooden board were freshly handmade sourdough rolls with condiments were left for brekkie. Best coffee machine ever ! she must have known we are lovers of coffee. The back yard is a great size for our pooches , we loved the marble dog bowl how special everything was.

Cobe Cottage Black01 is a kilometre from North Haven Beach and is at the end of a small quiet cul-de-sac leading to the Camden Haven River, riverside walkway and park.

Beautiful North Haven Beach is dog friendly and runs for about 3.5 kilometres. Council lifeguards and the Camden Haven Surf Club patrol the beach during school holidays. Dogs can run free north of the patrolled area and at the southern end of the beach is the Beach Break Café, picnic tables, showers and other amenities.

You can see the latest movies at The Plaza Theatre, a 7-minute drive from Black01. Built in 1959, it inspired Baz Luhrmann to become a filmmaker.

North Haven is well serviced with a range of fresh seafood, cafés, restaurants and pubs within close proximity. See the 'Cobe Cottage Black01' guide book.
