もともと1920年代に建てられ、2018/2019年に新しく改装されたAcornコテージは、バージニア州バコバの静かな村にある魅力的なシングルレベル、2ベッドルーム、2バスルームのコテージです。 各ベッドルームにはバスルームが付いています。 バース郡の中心部に位置し、ムーモー湖、ウォームスプリングス、ホットスプリングス、歴史的なオムニホームステッドリゾートから数分です。 コテージは、ホームステッドリゾートから8マイル（約12分）です。 バース郡の美しいハイキングトレイルや釣り穴を探索したい人に最適な拠点です。

Check in was really easy, the hosts were very responsive. The kitchen is so nice! Everything we needed was provided. WiFi was fast. The bath and shower were amazing. We loved the porches in the front and back. We make a cabin trip every year and this year the rental was 10/10

This was a quaint home just outside of warm springs and only 30 minutes away from lake Moomaw. It was very clean with one accesable shower and one tub. It was clean and well stocked with the essential kitchen wares.

The home layout and interior design well done. AC/heat comfortable. Booklet available on recommendations to sites, attractions and restaurants. Large deep bathtub. Beds comfortable. Plenty of blankets and pillows. Beautiful view from the front porch.

Warm Springs Trip

We spent time with our daughter visiting the Warm Spring Pools and exploring the surrounding area. The Acorn Cottage was perfect for the three of us. It’s location is close to Hot Springs and other sites. The cottage is very cute with plenty of room in a quiet area. We loved our stay and would highly recommend.

Well-appointed charming cottage

If you need a place in beautiful Bath County, this cottage is a great choice! Pretty much all we needed was available to us, and the layout of the cottage is perfect for hanging out with family. Comfortable beds, spacious updated bathrooms, and a large efficient kitchen are just some of the great points. A peaceful retreat!

We had a great stay here and it was perfect location for our tournament we were playing in at the Homestead. It was very well laid out and accommodating. One suggestion and I have made this a couple of places. Not everyone is familiar with smart TV's so having clear instructions for us older folks would be most helpful. Also the second bath is very deep so care needs to be taken there. Otherwise we were very happy and would definitely consider staying again and I would highly recommend it. One other very nice addition was the local news paper of things happening in the area. We definitely utilized the information there.

Beautiful Cottage in Bacova

The Acorn Cottage is perfect for a family getaway in Bath County! The house is beautifully decorated, fully equipped with top notch appliances, and the house is stocked with everything you and your guests may need. Two extremely comfortable bedrooms and bathrooms, and even a nice pull-out couch. We plan to return to this wonderful cottage again. The owners are very accommodating and responsive with any questions.

Beautiful retreat!

What a fantastically appointed cottage in serene Bath County! We came for a long weekend and were not disappointed. The house was thoughtfully curated and it’s clear that Dana and Tom are people who appreciate the details. We loved our time here, feeling cozy as we read, played games, and took shelter from some truly wide ranging spring mountain weather (hail, snow, rain and sun!). The location was perfect for jaunt over to the warm springs pools as well as lots of hiking. We highly recommend it!

Absolutely lovely

My spouse and our two friends wanted to celebrate a shared birthday and picked this lovely home as our stay. The owners spared no expense in making this place as cozy as possible, all of the furniture was spotless and comfortable. The check in process was very simple and the checkout was the same way. Everything worked flawlessly and the appliances are shiny and new. It’s as if the owners thought of everything you might need and included it in the property. We will definitely be staying here again.

Absolutely relaxing and gorgeous cottage

I booked the cottage for my sister's getaway weekend to celebrate her birthday with another friend. We spent three nights and enjoyed every minute of it! We use the kitchen to cook meals and enjoyed the front porch as well. The location is absolutely gorgeous. The cottage is immaculate! Great features all around and I would definitely come back!! I really like the extra touches like the plush towels, the nice linens, and the extensive notes provided by the host about places to hike. The little things! And the big things!

Great house and great owners

We were mostly at a larger rental with extended family during the day but it was very nice to come back to our own space in such a lovely home. The house has very modern decoration. It was nice to see so much beautiful reclaimed wood. The kitchen has all the necessities, even ground coffee! There was enough space for my husband and I with our 3 children, 2 sharing a bed and one on the pull out couch. Dana and Tom are thoughtful, communicative hosts. We couldn't be happier with our choice to rent this property. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

We live across the village, a short walk away from the cottage in the old Bacova chapel. From there Dana operates her out of print book and collectible book business while Tom has a custom art framing business. Tom is an avid hiker and outdoorsman and loves exploring Bath county's hiking trails and fishing holes. Dana enjoys reading and watching way too many home remodeling shows.

Acorn Cottage is a 1920's cottage which we completely renovated in 2018/2019. We tried to retain as much of the original charm of the cottage as we could while at the same time the modernizing the heating, air conditioning, appliances and accessibility. The cottage has a central heat and air conditioning, tankless water heater, high efficiency furnace with MERV allergy filter and a back up propane stove. All doorways were widened and the bathrooms are somewhat over sized to accommodate guest who may have issues with mobility.
